Prepare to be round-housed in the taste buds. This is a North American style India Pale Ale. It has an intense North West Pacific-hop character from a ridiculous amount of hops added to the brew-kettle, and then dry-hopped later on during conditioning. Citrusy, floral, and fruity flavours take front stage, while the caramel accented malts give it some balance.

Tapped at the Syndicate Restaurant and Brewpub in Niagara/Canada. Sweet floral hops aroma. Golden orange copper color, hazy. Unfiltered. Taste starts with a strong malt presence in the front and turns to bitter hops innabout 4-5 seconds. Quite a compwlex body and taste. Full body. Refreshing and tasty.

Has a light copper look with a small white head. Aroma is citrus and floral, with perhaps some pine thrown in the mix. This beer is very hoppy, and finishes dry. Pretty good.

Growler picked up at the source. Pours a true copper colour, a bit cloudy, a bit of carbonation. Off white head that dies down to a thin layer that clings to the glass walls, flecks and drips of lace. Nose is Carmel and hop., maybe even a bit of nut. Tastes creamy, pine hop bitter, a bit of walnut nut too.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy light orange with a thin white head. Aroma of tangy citrus hops, bitter hops, floral hops, and caramel malt. Flavor of spicy hops up front with bitterness in the finish, grassy hops, and a touch of citrus. Very tasty hoppy IPA! 7/4/8/4/15 [3.8/5]

Growler from the brewpub, shared with Steve and Mike, served cool in a tulip glass. 29AL12.

App.: Slightly hazy amber with a decent light tan head. Aroma: Quite British, earthy, a little floral, pine/resin, stern caramel/toffee malts, a touch fruity. Palate: Medium body, very relaxed effervescence. Flav.: Esters (bubble gum), earthy, British, decent hops- pine, resin, etc., brown sugar, maple, light raisins/dark dried fruits; dry with decent bitterness and a British malt finish.

A decent British-style IPA. Not that sinister or insane.

On tap at Taps. Hazy dark orange pour, thick cream head. Strong aromas of grapefruit, pine, caramel, slightly floral. Very smooth. Solid dose of citrus, but the thing I find interesting about it was the creamy texture. Not as "Insane" as I expected but nice balance and well hidden booze. Solid.
