bottle. Poured pale hazy yellow with a wisp of a head. Aroma is full of spicy clove and banana. Light mouthfeel, a touch dry. Typical wheaty flavour with yeast and citrus notes. I wouldn’t have known there was vanilla is this brew if it weren’t in the name. Not too offensive.

Had on draft @ the brewpub in Canada, last night of the trip .. . pours a light pear juice .. hazy .. mild foam, lacing is good .. . basically just light wheat and vanilla .. is quite dry . . its an alright beer but the vanilla isn’t warranted
.. . . there’s cheese in the air!
Earlier Rating: 8/21/2012 Total Score: 2.8
Had at the Syndicate .. poured a hazed amber pear .. good foam .. sweet hay, light banana and light vanilla .. a thinner wheat with the vanilla, made for the tourists ..

in taster at Churchills. Looks slightly cloudy straw yellow. White small head. Clean sweet wheat on the nose. Tastes at first pretty crisp and creamy citrus and light bitterness then some spices and banana kinda late. A pretty crisp hefe but i like it. Overall 7 of 10. Best hefe i have had so far.

Taste is quite nice, it has a common flavour of a wheat beer at the front, and a nice hint of the vanilla at the back, overall very drinkable and would have again

Pint/Growler @ TAPS, Niagara Falls, Canada.
Hazy yellow blond pour. I wish it were truly unfiltered, but you can’t always get what you want. Nice banana nose, very fruity + sweet. A subtle hint of vanilla in there, too. Pretty complex features on the nose, really. Medium bodied, goes down very nice. A little on the sweet side - not a bad thing! - hints of vanilla, honey, cloves, cinamon. Really nice taste and an excellent entry from the Taps guys. Loving their beers!

On tap at Taps, slight hazy yellow blonde hue, with an off-white head, yeasty, fruity faint bananaish esters, with a hint of vanilla bean in the nose with some spicy clove, cinnamon, nutmeg accents, with a mild wheaty, pale malt, bready dough note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, fruity, honeyed pale, wheat malt, spicy clove, cinnamon, nutmeg character with a subtle vanilla bean flavour, and light banana, ripe apple undertrones, leading towards a honeyish, wheaty, bananaish, spicy, clove, cinnamon finish.

On tap at Taps.
In the aroma, I get clove upfront, followed by some banana. No vanilla at all.
Looks hazy dark yellow. Small head, but the head lasted. I think it just wasn’t poured with as much head as it should have been considering that it is a Weiss.
Tastes delicious. A bit more malty than your average wheat beer. Some banana and clove. No vannilla, zero. I was hoping to taste some vanilla, but was disappointed as I am a vanilla freak.
Palate was nice. Medium bodied. Lower carbonation than a normal wheat beer.
