renffisch (456), london, Greater London, England Jul 7, 2008 draught @ the rake. lovely fresh hoppy golden, slightly hazy beer. Quite citric nose and grassy, it keeps the freshness all the way to the end. hoppy, fruity and dry fresh flavour. very drinkable light beer.
Aubrey (2614), Denver, Colorado, USA Oct 9, 2008 Cloudy golden-orange with a nice and lasting white head. Texture was light and soft. Nose was spicy. Malt flavors had a toasty, nutty edge with a mild sweetness (light caramel, faint honey, rock candy). Hops were rather spicy (white pepper, grass, wildflowers) followed by a slightly bitter aftertaste. Somewhat of a malt off-flavor in the aftertaste (hollow and plastic-like). Overall, not too shabby, just a little thin and shallow in some areas. At times, it made me think of Urthel Hop-It, but Urthel Hop-It is much better. probstk (695), Nepean, Ontario, Canada Oct 8, 2008 330 ml bottle from Bieropholie, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. GUSHER.
App.: Cloudy deep golden/orange, small white foam with good lacing.
Aroma: Starts off with an odd, sort of savoury/meaty/dusty note, somewhat fruity, quite yeasty, a touch of citrus slightly peppery and spicy, bubblegum esters.
Palate: Medium-ish body, soft, almost non-existent effervescence.
Flav.: A bit dirty and earthy, a bit of that savoury/brothy note, quite peppery, the fruits, citrus and esters have vanished; dry with fair bitterness.

Hansen (1771), Randers, Denmark Oct 3, 2008 Golden coloured and unclear. Has a white head, mostly lasting. Aroma is very hoppy, metal, crisp, sharp. Flavor starts moderate bitter and finish heavy bitter. Dry texture, lively carbonation. rederic (1444), montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 2, 2008 Hazy blonde hue, with a fluffy white head, leaving laces, yeasty, bready dough and light citrus nose, with a hint of vanilla spiciness, and a faint floral hop lemony aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, earthy pale malt, bready dough character, with a nice flowery hop leafiness, citrus accent, with a mild lemon zest note, leading towards a fruity, lemony hop bitterness finish.
