A collaboration beer brewed with Due South Brewing, from Florida. This Rye IPA is truly locally inspired. Fresh Valencia oranges are used in three stages of making this beer along with honey from the hills above Sant Joan de Mediona. The citrus from the fruit intermingles with hop flavours and the spiciness of the rye malts for a full flavored IPA.

I love rye beers and even though the orange and honey have made this a tad too sweet it is a great beer. The rye bitterness of the ipa is longlasting and perfect. Bottle from De Zwart in Wilnis

Amber-orange color with a rather small head that won’t stay for long. It’s somewhat cloudy. Taste is bittersweet with hints of honey, cloves and caramel malt. Aftertaste is again bittersweet, with a strong bitter start that catches a somewhat sweet finish. Not bad at all!
