COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
During the brewing of experimental beer at the brewery “Taruškų alaus bravoras” a type of beer with hemp was made. This beer has received great popularity among students, and then among wider audience as well. For brewing beer of “Kanapinis” type roasted hemp seeds are used, which gives the beer a smell of roasted nuts and a burnt, sweet taste.

Butelka 500ml. Ciemnozlote i lekko metnawe (niefiltrowane). Piana biala dosc obfita szybko redukuje sie do obreczy...no i teraz sie zaczyna. Konopie!! W piwie!! Aromat slodowy z lekkim kartonowo-kukurydzianym tlem. Ogolnie zapach dosc odrzuca. Pierwszy lyk rowniez .wrazenie starego piwa. Jednak pozniej mozna wyczuc slody orzechy miod no i konopie. Nie jest to TA konopia.;). Musze przyznac ze podchodzilem do tego wynalazku dosc ostroznie i z duza doza zrozumienia dla prob. Wyszlo ok. Konopia to jedna z najzdrowszych roslin. Mysle , ze to fajne studeckie piwo.

Bottle from Rasputin’s in Ipswich. Pours a cloudy golden colour with a large white head. Aroma of malt, straw, and nut with a slight sour edge. Quite sweet, medium bitterness, light sourness. Bitter finish.

Bottle 1L. Light golden colour with big head. Slightly hazy. Aroma is a bit caramel and old basement, some malt notes as well. Sweet, light, yeasty homemade beer taste. Yeast dominates quite a lot in taste. Not a big thing.

The Lithuanian beer bar in Kyiv: pours light orange with white head. Aroma is sugar and buttery malt. Taste is pretty sweet with light carbonation. Similar to other Lithuanian beers I tried along with it. Not at all a dortmunder as far as I can tell.

Hazy golden liquid with frothy white head. Aroma of hay, sheep wool and caramel. Taste of sweet nonalcoholic beer, medium sweet, light bitter. Palate: light body, thin feel, soft carbonisation.

SWING-TOP 1L. Hazy amber, smallish tan head. The diacetyl from the aroma quickly goes away, leaving room for caramel baked apples, with almonds, raisins and cinnamon. The flavour is similar, with a silky smooth mouthfeel and almost total lack of hop bitterness. Not bad.

Aroma: moderate to moderate high diacetylm sweet malts, some dusty notes. Taste: rotten sweeteness. Flavour: rotten fruits (apples, grapes), oils, malt sweeteness. Light sourness in the aftertaste. Strange and unpleasant.

0,5L standard brown glass bottle with a cap as "Beerville Light" from Rimi supermarket in Tallinn. The ABV and appearance matches so I think this must be it. Big buttery Lithuanian aroma. I can see how some people will interpret this as a brewing flaw but it’s actually the way traditional beers are done in Lithuania and I guess the locals prefer it that way. Taste has plenty of malt and more buttery/creamy flavours. Low carbonation. Slightly soapy finish. Well, you either like this style or not. But for me, the rich and soft malty body makes it more natural and drinkable than most of the other supermarket lagers which have a thin body, fizzy carbonation and taste like sheet metal. This is flavoursome but not all these flavours are good.

Bottle from Snekutis Uzupio, Vilnius. Pours pale golden with a big, rocky white head. A bit strange spices and vegetables aroma. Starts sweet with quite a bit of honey flavours. Not completely off, better in the mouth than in the nose.

Nieco dziwny aromat, jakby orzechowy cho? nie wykluczam diacetylu. Niezbyt smaczne, troch? musia?em si? przem?czy?.
