Bottle 1L. Light golden colour with big head. Slightly hazy. Aroma is a bit caramel and old basement, some malt notes as well. Sweet, light, yeasty homemade beer taste. Yeast dominates quite a lot in taste. Not a big thing.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
The Lithuanian beer bar in Kyiv: pours light orange with white head. Aroma is sugar and buttery malt. Taste is pretty sweet with light carbonation. Similar to other Lithuanian beers I tried along with it. Not at all a dortmunder as far as I can tell.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
SWING-TOP 1L. Hazy amber, smallish tan head. The diacetyl from the aroma quickly goes away, leaving room for caramel baked apples, with almonds, raisins and cinnamon. The flavour is similar, with a silky smooth mouthfeel and almost total lack of hop bitterness. Not bad.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
0,5L standard brown glass bottle with a cap as "Beerville Light" from Rimi supermarket in Tallinn. The ABV and appearance matches so I think this must be it. Big buttery Lithuanian aroma. I can see how some people will interpret this as a brewing flaw but it’s actually the way traditional beers are done in Lithuania and I guess the locals prefer it that way. Taste has plenty of malt and more buttery/creamy flavours. Low carbonation. Slightly soapy finish. Well, you either like this style or not. But for me, the rich and soft malty body makes it more natural and drinkable than most of the other supermarket lagers which have a thin body, fizzy carbonation and taste like sheet metal. This is flavoursome but not all these flavours are good.

Bottle from Snekutis Uzupio, Vilnius. Pours pale golden with a big, rocky white head. A bit strange spices and vegetables aroma. Starts sweet with quite a bit of honey flavours. Not completely off, better in the mouth than in the nose.
