As pale “Kanapinis” received great popularity, the dark version of this beer was brewed as well. For brewing of the beer, hemp seeds and roasted malt is used which gives rich dark colour and, upon tasting, caramel savour with distinct hop bitterness unfolds.

SWING-TOP 1L. Hazy red, tan frothy head. Aroma of caramel, cherries, spicy hops, dry leaves. Some smoked cheese far behind. The flavour is similar, fruity with a zesty bitter finish. Smooth, silky mouthfeel. Despite the rustic feel to it, it feels quite clean.

Aroma: diacetyl, caramel, lactic acid, ammonia. Taste: unpleasant sweeteness, light sourness. Very bad with aroma of public WC. Sorry this is a really bad thing.

Nice dark amber colour. Foam is not too big and it is pale. Tastes nor too bitter nor too light somewhere in the middle and quiet simple but not too simple. Aftertaste was pleasent and inviting to have another one.

1L brown glass swing top bottle. Opaque light brown body, small head. Rustic Lithuanian aroma with a pleasant bready roast. Sweet nutty taste with lactic hints and more soft roast. Oily mouthfeel and a bit low carbonation. Finish has some harsh wooden/herbal hops. Quite nice beer until the finish which is a bit unrefined. Also, please consider using reasonably sized bottles.
