Moderately bitter and mildly sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a modest carbonation. Fruit-accented hoppy taste with notes of oranges, citrus, tangerines; dry-ish hoppy bitter and fruity finish with traces of cara-malt. Nice IPA. 20.X.12

ersma: bereits das zweite bier von frauen, das mir in die hände fällt.fünf brauereinnen haben sich hier zusammengetan.
karamellfarben, leicht trübe. verschäumung ist ok.
der geruch ist fruchtig-süßlich nach blumen und beeren.
der antrunk ist hopfenbetont, herb, leicht bitter mit aromen von grapefruit und birne. die mitte wird noch etwas herber, im hintergrund malzige anflüge, die im abgang deutlicher werden. der ist ansonsten abnehmend herb mit birne und litschi.
die flasche zeigt die augen einer der brauerinnen. nett.
fazit: von mädchen, aber weit entfernt von mädchenbier. kein überflieger, aber solide und gut trinkbar.

Keg @ Arendsnest. Clear gold with a modest white head. The nose is quite floral. Countryside meadow, earthy hops, roots. A bit of sweet banana esters. The taste is apricot jam, trail mix. Soft floral bitterness on the finish. Light body, fine carbonation. Overall, simple but perfectly fine.

(33 cl bottle) Orange-golden colour, hazy, bubbly, with a white head. looks nice. Aroma is very disappointing, though. Honey, very yeasty, a touch of orange peel, but also cooked carrots. The waiter assures me that’s how it usually tastes. I don’t like it much. And it surely does not resemble anything I would expect when ordering an IPA made using Nelson Sauvin and Citra hops. Medium body, medium bitterness, light sweetness. Still drinkable, but not a real pleasure, what a pity!

Poured golden with a thin, white head. Aroma of yeasted hops and caramel malt. Medium to light body, flavour a la the aroma with grassy citrus and a bitter end.

Bottle at The Fiddler, Den Haag. Poured a cloudy dark amber with a thin white head. The aroma is yeast and some more yeast. The flavour is medium bitter, yeasty and with lots of smooth malt and caramel on the palate. A very drinkable and refreshing beer with some interesting non Dutch-Belgian characteristics.

Bardzo dobre IPA z Holandii. Jeden z moich ulubionych hmieli tu zastosowano, a mianowicie Nelson Sauvin z NZ. Bardzo wyraznie w smaku, chmielowe i wytrawne w koncowce, zmetnienie takze spore, piana spora, wysoka i trzyma sie sporo czasu. Ciekawa i ladna biala etykieta z oczami, chyba kobiety:)

Pours a cloudy yellow colour with a white head. Aroma of caramel, clove, floral notes and some spiciness. Flavour of caramel, floral hops, sweet dried apricot, pepper and some herbal notes. Some yeast as well. Medium bodied, high carbonation and a slightly warming, bitter and spicy finish. Good stuff.

On tap at In de Wildeman, Amsterdam on 16th March 2013. Gold with thinning white head and lacing bands. Rich inviting yeasty hoppy aromas. Luscious grassy hop, grapefruit and spice in-mouth. Fresh berries and pepper also present. Bitter hoppy grassy finish and zingy mouthfeel.
