Very pale yellow color, big bubbles, small white head. Papery malty, sweetcorn nose. Foamy lively carbonation. Sweet corn malty flavor, alcohol harshness. Some apply flavors. Empty alcoholic finish. Pilsener? No.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Rated: june 2007
Bottle brown, 500 ml, extract of wort 12 %
Poured deep golden colour, head is foamy to frothy, carbonation is low, colour is deep golden to burned but still light amber, leave some lacing, head is +2 and disappearing at medium speed. Aroma of some harsh bitterness at the beginning. Strickes nose than in the background some malty base of malted barley, though aroma seems not well blanced, some traces of citrus like lemon.
Flavour is more hoppy than Warka Jasne Pelne, hops are quite nice what give some refreshing of the beer, it is a bit wattery and quite flat after 3 minutes what makes it easy going and not tangy. It is dry, a bit bisquity but not as much as Zywiec beer. Some mild nice, malty sweetness. Fresh, mild. Palate is dry, flat, a little bit wattery. Not very interesting pilsener type.

Dec, 2007 500ml can from local East European shop. A firm, smooth beer with a mild malty and fruit flavour. Some dusty lager hops. OK. [2.1]
May 2008 500ml can from local East European shop. £1.19p. Creamy carbonation. Full mouthfeel. Quite fruity for a lager. Few hops. Licorice notes. Malty alcohol. Spangles. Sugary. It’s not good, but it’s not offensive and it is drinkable.[1.9]
Nov, 2012 500ml can from local East European shop. Burnished gold appearance. Grainy and slightly sweet. Low bitterness, with a lingering noble hop taste in the finish - quite tickly and just a bit smudged. Soft carbonation and palate - slightly creamy. A drinkable and unobjectionable pale lager. Slightly higher abv than average, but this is only just noticeable in the mouthfeel. [2.3]
Sept, 2014 500ml yellow can - Tatra Beer - Full-Bodied Taste. From local supermarket, The Rose; part of a six Polish lagers for £6.50 deal. Pleasant honey taste. Quite refreshing. Soft and inoffensive. Just a touch of noble hops in the finish. [2.5]

Pale yellow coloured with a small white head. Aroma of malts, corn and sweet gale. Hoppy and sweet malty flavour. Watery, not quite good.

Can. Golden White head. Aroma is hard to find. Maybe some sweet malt. Flavor is from sour malt and an annoying alcoholtaste. ¨Dreadful! Lousy brewed.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
50cl can that Chad got in Poland. Clear gold with a small white head that quickly disappears. Grassy and sweet aroma with a slight metallic edge. Flavor is mostly an artificial sweetness with some hop balancing, but an acute carboard aftertaste. Medium body with medium carbonation. Definitely not enough hop bitterness for a pilsener, but still not completely off.

Bottle. I’ve had a few of these but couldn’t find this beer in U.S. Anyhow, I thought that this was pretty good and deffinately better than Zywiec. Flavor is malty with notes of honey and earthly aroma. Hops are clearly present but do not overpower the taste like other pilsners do. Strong finish.

Bottled. Shining and headless. Wafts of armpit (seriously). Paper and alcohol. Bile and copper. Not a personal Polish favourite.
