Can. Sweetish fruity aroma.clear golden colour. Caramelly and flowery flavour. Tastes as if something was added, but it is probably just the hops.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can from the LCBO- Deep yellow liduid pours a fizzy white cap. Faint floral hops meet grains and honey. Tastes of sweet grains with metallic floral hops, a bit of biscuit and pale malts. The abv doesn’t seem to be a factor.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a medium yellow with a quickly dissolving head. The aroma is lightly sweet, with some metallic notes, and some light hops. The flavour is ok, nothing really offensive, mostly malts, a touch of grassy hop extract. The finish suffers from a dry industrial bitterness. Probably won’t ever buy this again.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: SEP 19, 2008 500mL can from the LCBO (5.5% abv, as opposed to the listed 6% abv). I was totally unaware that this beer existed in their system. Pours a nice full golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is a lot of tinny hoppness, and just some mild malts, not a whole lot. Flavour is a touch better, leaning a lot more towards some nice sweet pale malts, with only a slight hint of hop dryness around the edges, and maybe a tad too much carbonation. Not nearly enough hop character to be a real Pils. As it warms this weird fake creamy sweetness get more prominent, which is sort of weird. Decent enough, though I doubt I’ll buy it again. Even after a long day this hasn’t really impressed me much, and is a let down for something that should have appealed to me.

Pours a clear pale golden with some white short-lived head. Very mild malt aroma. Taste is sweet malt, some vegital character and mild hops. Thirstquenching, but uninteresting.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
50cl can, 6% ABV. Amber with a rapidly fading white head; sweet malt aroma; honeyed flavour, smooth and syrupy in the mouth without being oversweet; some bitter hops develop but giving a cardboard taste and feel; the finish being sticky and sweet. Different and drinkable, but not memorable.

08/08 Tatra Jasne Pelne, 0.5 l can on a gas station near Warszawa. Interesting candy malt with ale yeast characteristics. Sweetish flavor, also quite like Belgian ale, with flower and honey malted. Some sweet fruitness as well, so a bit cloying. Full bodied, with long sweetish finish where honey is felt the most. Now I see it’s classified like a pilsener, well, it is surely the oddest pilsener I’ve ever tried. So weird...like you’re drinking an ale, but I like it.
