Small head, rough and agricultural with a highish ABV. Not as bad as many eastern european beers. Low carbonation and lots of big straw going on.

Tryied some time ago, maybe not well cooled, but still was too bad. For me could be similar to our polish Harnaś. Low price, low taste.

Gdansk. Sweet, rich, small residual sugar, like all Polish macro it seems. Cereal grain. Balanced, malty banana. Ok.

500ml can. Light hop aroma. Pours golden with a white head and well carbonated - classic lager appearance. Reasonably hoppy flavour with a dash of sweetness and medium body. A touch of bitterness in the finish.

Foam: creamy white head. Colour: very clear nice dark gold colour. Aroma: malt mostly, a hints of flora/grassy hop, white bread. Taste: caramel malt, a little homey sweet, brown sugar on the palate, some straw also, very few hops flavour, medium to thin body, lower carbonation, quite dry finish, not bad for pale lager I think.

the beer demonstrates you dont have to have a lot of flavor if you can present good body. flavor of malt with a touch of burnt caramel. a little bitterness in there and that regional alcohol flavor is well muted since the malt and bitter lingers somewhat. almost feels yeasty?

Bottle from ASDA. Golden in colour, with a big , off-white, head and a lot of carbonation. Light and sweet, slightly floral aroma with a hint of malt. Flavour was malty, with a hint of caramel, leading to a moderately bitter finish. An OK strong lager.

Tatra has a medium-to-thick white head, a clear, deep gold color, bubble streams, and a clear appearance, with moderate lacing left behind. The aroma is of very mild or faint sweet malt and grain, and the flavor is of subdued sweetness, bread, a straightforward grain mix, and low hop bitterness (use Icehouse as a point of reference). Mouthfeel is watery, and Tatra Jasne Pelne (full bright) finishes crisp and refreshing. RJT

lesifflebiere (1457) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 28, 2015
