Bottle. Orange with a modest white head. Aroma is sweet grainy with light floral and spice notes. Sweet grainy malt with some bread and a little nutty caramel, bitterness is there but struggles to break free of the sweetness. The malt has some character, but it’s just OK.

500ml can from a mini-market in Gorgie. How can this be £1? Must just be extracts and a short maturation period I guess. Rather fetching young-Harrison-Ford-alike on the can (different pic to the bottle for sure). Pours clear gold, thin, short-lived white head. Aromas are light sweet malt, little else. Taste brings a light herbal note. Sticky finish. The price of this kind of pish doesn’t seem to have changed much in 15 years. I can see no other suitable way of ending this rating.

Trinkbar.

Poured with a fluffy head which quickly disappeared leaving a thin bodied yellow beer. Not much going on, some chalk in the aftertaste but light malts and hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500mL bottle from a Pollack grocery store over on Archer ($1.99 seemed like a fair price). Pours a crystal clear, yellow-golden, nice fluffy white head with excellent retention. Nose is corn, light malt, some metallic notes, some of that skunky characteristic you’d find in similar beers like Heineken and Stella. Not horrible if you go into into with a reasonable idea of what you’re getting: an ubiquitous, run of the mill import lager. I could see drinking a few quarts of this over grilled Polish sausage and pierogies. Nasze zdrowie!

Hopfiger Antrunk, malziger Abgang! Es sind verschiedene Malzaromen zu erkennen. Fazit: Es ist ein süffiges, malzbetontes Bier, geht runter wie Öl! Flaschen-Design ist ganz in Ordnung!

Can from Polonia, west bromwich. Golden beer with medium frothy head. Aroma of sweetcorn and pale malts. Taste is pale malts, a little yeast and mild hop bitterness. Above average lager.

Can local Eastern European shop. Drunk from can. Aroma is pale malts. Taste is same decent hoppy finish. Medium body reasonable carbonation. Ok lager.
