Can from the new place on our road, that I get giddy about for new ticks. Morris already knows where we’re going, when we head in that direction. The beer is clear, old gold. Decent, lasting, clingy, white head. Nose has Weetabix. Syrup. Trace of grassy hop. Some bread yeast. Taste is soft, sugary sweet. Some tin can bitterness. Decent mouthfeel. Pretty clean. Doesn’t necessarily feel the ABV. Short, metallic bitter finish. A lot more drinkable than I expected. At a quid a pop, and if I ever went full alky, this would fill my fridge.

Aromat orzechowy, gotowane warzywa. Bez sza?u.

Barwa herbaty z cytryną, piana biała szybko znika. W aromacie nuty słodowe i alkoholowe. W smaku czuć bardzo mocno alkohol, nuty słodowe i lekka goryczka. Słabe.

Can 0,50L. Courtesy of Kita. Clear golden color with small, frothy, white head and low visible carbonation. Aroma is bready, biscuity and malty. Taste starts light sweet/light bitter, while finish turns to light bitter. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Not much of a taste or aroma, but still drinkable. Alcohol is well hidden.

0.5l can. Golden color with white head. Aroma is grainy and herbal. Taste is sweet with some herbal hop character. Medium body and lively carbonation. Overall it’s drinkable beer, but not much more than that.

Very similar to regular lager version. Much more noticeable alcohol in aroma and taste, and this is the only difference.

Canned - Clear golden colour, small white head diminishing quickly. Malty aromas with cardboard notes. Taste is bread, hay, some honey and alcohol, low hop bitterness and cardboard aftertaste. Thin, watery body, moderate carbonation, boozy and a bit metallic finish. Not good.
