This tastes a lot of malt liquor. Alcoholic charaters dominate this. Not so good. (in fact, these two tatra beers have the been the worst so far on my Germany trip).

Can. Clear deep golden color, thin white head that leaves lacing. Aroma of cardboard and some German hops. Flavor is slightly sweet, slightly hoppy, lots of lager.

Tap at a restaurant in Krakow, Poland.
Pours an average cheddar yellow with an aroma of grassy hops and pilsner malt. Flavor is average pilsner (poo poo). Average mouthfeel. Average and flat in the end.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured from 16 oz bottle. I was reluctant to get a malt liquor, but figured that I’d have to try it at least once. Aroma is rather interesting but not appealing, a slight hint of honey and lemon which gives it a soft "Lemon Pledge" aroma. Pour is clear yellow with a small head. Taste wise, it’s a LOT smoother than what I was expecting. It’s better than a lot of beers I’ve tried. I don’t know if I’d drink it again, but it’s good enough to finish the bottle.

From local Indian supermarket. Lively forced carbonation. Rather tinny. Some cereal notes. Lager hop finish - flowery, muddled and soggy, but firm enough - lingering. Pale gold colour. Refreshing, though with an awareness of the alcohol strength. Not offensive. Pretty much what you have come to expect of a East European Strong Lager, though with a bit more hops.

Can from Polsky Sklep, Great Bridge, Tipton, West Mids. Slightly medicinal taste and a tinge of strength in the aroma. A faint hint of choc in the malt. Quite drinkable, not too harsh. OK, perhaps a little harsh. Probably the best of the 4 canned Polish beers which were sampled on train journey to Manchester.
