It’s almost an amber beer in style and look with a pleasant orange citrus taste, but its texture is also that of a bitter, but not a best bitter. Tangy and tasty.

Amber copper, clear, white head, dissipates to thin layer
Aroma - caramel malts, some spicy bitter hops, slight herbal note
Taste - caramel malts, nice spicy bitter hop, bit herbal, touch of toasted malt, good bitter flavour
Palate - Light body, clean finish.
Overall - This was a really decent bitter

50cl bottle from the Tatton estate shop. Bright amber with a thin cream head; pleasant malty aroma; crisp citrus taste to start with a smooth malty body; and a gentle but lasting grassy bitterness. A rather good bitter.

Bottled (thanks to DJMonarch). Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruits, mild nuts, caramel and some eartyness. Flavour consists of the same with a quite bitter and dry floral and grassy finish.

Clear medium to dark brown amber colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, malty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20101201]
