2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
500ml can (?, Poland)
Sweet malt extract aroma. Treaclier taste. Dark brown, brief tan head. Fizzy palate, sweetish, not as much as many macro giras. Slight lemony acidity. Drinkable, but not my favourite.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
From a 500ml bottle. Stable tan-coloured head to an unclear red-brown body. Aroma of sweet bread. Taste of prunes and sweet malts. Honey sweet ending. Ok version of a kvas (kindly shared by djoeye, Tromsø 27.02.2014).

0,5L bottle b@Marijampole LT, 1.2abv.
Kvass (gira), malts, prunes to the nose. 1 1/2 finger beige head on ruby-red-brown somewhat unclear body, only few lacings.
Tastes raisins, malts, prunes, apple, and lots of kvass (gira).
Fresh with alright carbonation. Juicy finish, and not too sweet this one. Good premium gira.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours near black with a big head that is gone quick. The aroma is straight pumpernickel. The taste has rye, raisin, a little too sweet. Solid kvass.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Dark brown colour, small head. Notes of dark rye bread, a bit of sweet aromas like caramel or honey. Medium sweetness. Drinkable and thirst-quenching, sweetness does not disturb and the aroma feels very natural.
