Appearance of malt liquor. Uninviting odor. Surprisingly tasty malt with a clean finish. A cut above other lagers from south of the border. Worth repeating. No lime required.

10th rating of this pale lager, 12oz at a Friend’s BBQ. This was surpisingly tasty and drinkable for the style. Sweet light nose and taste and pretty tasty and drinkable for the style, I know I’m being repetitive.

Bottle: Clear pale color with not much head. Sweet malty aroma with a little skunky. Classic pale lager crispness with a slightly soapy aftertaste. Sweet and smooth to the feel. If I was stuck in El Salvador, get me one of these immediately, if not sooner. Otherwise, I’ll opt for a Northwest IPA. Thanks to Las Vegas based Southwest Flight Attendant David Guerrero for hooking me up with one of these. He said they are at a great price at Fresh & Easy.

Bottle: great looking bottle label design, crisp, clean and slightly hopped. Refreshing good with hot & spicy food.

Bottle from Fresh & Easy. Clear medium golden color upon pouring. Grainy cardboard aroma with a hint of malt. Grainy flavor with a hint of matiness. Not bad for style.
