Nearing BBE date. Light haze on this gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Light malts, mild creamy sweetness. Mellow hops - orange peel, mild spice and traces of lemon and fruit salad. Light and bitterish finish. Not bad, would like to try a fresher one.

330ml bottle (Vieta, Riga)
Thanks dude from Hungaricum for pointing us here! Initially a pleasant aromatic hoppy sweetish IPA aroma, herbal, but it quickly turns to something more dishwatery. Pale orange, small tight head. Fairly pleasant in the mouth, fullish, a little sweet, but still refreshing. Slightly sticky malts, somewhat one-dimensional hoppiness. Slightly boring modern IPA. Has a slight APA-yeast stickiness, that might explain the aroma.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Keg at The Rake. It pours clear rich amber with a small white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, soft stewed orange, tinned peach, tangerine, bread and cake. The taste is crisp, bitter, sweet orange, candied peel, orange sponge cake, grassy edge, alcohol kick, metallic twang, peppery spice, light acidity and waxy peel with a slight harsh, lingering orange peel finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Definitely some new world hops kicking about. A bit unbalanced if truth be told, but ok overall.
