Cask as Maritime Best, half pint shared with Finn at Maritime Inn. Spotty lacing from a dissipating off-white head. Clear amber body. Modest brown malty nose. Malty flavours of nuts and caramel followed by moments of dried fruits towards a bittersweet ending. Fair enough (Plymouth 22.09.2016).

On tap at Maritime Inn, Plymouth. Chestnut in colour with small head and decent lacing throughout. Strong fruit notes. Not particularly easy drinking due to an underlying taste of alcohol.

Cask conditioned handpump Malt Shovel Northampton 16/05/14. A brown beer with an off-white head and lace. An old fashioned bitter. Balanced quite nicely but very low in flavour really. Competent just really dull these days.

Cask at The Antelope in Surbiton. Really strong fruity hit in the first sip, quite overpoweringly so. Settled down into a pleasant and well-balanced session ale though. Enjoyable enough.

bottle from Tuckers Maltings. Chestnut colour, mid-sized off-white head. Malty base with hints of nuts and shy fruity hints. Hoppy finish.

A brown tinted ale with a wild berry fruitiness for its flavour. Fairly sweet.

On gravity at the Green Man, Bristol 11/10/2012. Medium brown in colour with a decent, off-white head. Aroma of hedgerow fruits, cereal malts and leafy hops. Flavour had solid malts, a touch more fruit and decent, bitter finish. Good.
