Draft at the Singapore branch. Quite pale yellow colour, very light and sweet for a weizen (almost on the way to being a blanche), nice spicy taste.

Decent head. Cloudy weizen colour. I wish they’d turn the lights up in here a bit.. A decent weizen and a godsend after all the bloody lagers here

Pours cloudy golden yellow with a thick head that leave a little lacing as it fades. The aroma is dominated by banana with bread, citrus, and yeast. It tastes fairly sweet with low bitterness and low sourness.

Draft @ Singapore brewpub. Cloudy pale yellow, paler than the lager. Decent stable head. Aroma tainted by some pedio and dirty sock sourness. Thin but soft palate with some fizz. Flavors are ok, some sweet wheat malt character. Finishes with a nice wheat/fruit balance. OK.

An unanticipated delight. Nose of citrus, banana, cloves ... a real hefe. Cloudy orange with a huge white head. This is starting to get interesting. Taste of banana and cloves and lemon ... about as good as a hefe can get, and perfect for the humid hot sticky Singapore evening and perfect with the moderately spicy and wonderfully complex Thai dinner. What a wonderful surprise. Thanks Tobias and Irene for finding the place.

UPDATED: AUG 3, 2009 Good floral flavours. Nice banana vanilla notes with some faint spice elements. Has a nice grainy sweet aftertaste with a delectable middle. Lacking in strong aromas and the typical cloudy wheat beer body though. Nevertheless, highly refreshing, thirst quenching and nicely carbonated. Good wheat beer.

This beer is hazy yellow colored with small creamy head. Aroma has citrus and banana esters. Good amount of banana in the flavor, but it finishes quite quickly to dry mouthfeel.

UPDATED: JUN 28, 2010 Bangkok location: Cloudy yellow; Aroma of candy banana - very sweet. Palate is also very sweet...mainly banana with a malty backdrop. Slight hint of clove. Very sweet, straightforward finish. Not so wheaty. 6-3-6-3-12 = 3.0
Singapore location. Hazy yellow tan with thin head. Aroma is banana forward; sweet front, picks up some yeasty dryness late. Touch of acidity. Good balance. 3-7-4-7-14 = 3.5

Murky pale yellow. Intense aroma of banana and coriender. Fruity, soft and estery. Sweet, mld and really refreshing. IMO this is the best beer establishment in Bangkok.
