33 cL bottle, thanks to DSG - I owe you one - cheers mate. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Light roasted caramel malt aroma. Flavour is hardroasted malt, light caramel flavour and a distinct acidity. Light spice note too. Ends with a lingering roasted malt flavour and a light acidic note. Nice.

Thanks to beastiefan2k for sharing this bad boy. Deep brown beer with a thin tan head. Unusual caramel/toffee aroma with a strange phenolic edge to it. Yeasty and crackery but again, there’s something not quite right in here. A lingering toastiness. Lightly sweet but thin-bodied. Meh.

12oz bottle from gotmos, hauled this all the way back from the homeland. It pours with a black body and a ghost white head. Quickly the head fades. The aroma is dusty dry dark cracker with light cracker. Taste is less corn with a more malt sweetness. This takes away from the dryness in the aroma, it also finishes a bit watery. A light easy drinking beer with just a bit of corn, so in general good.

Bottle shared by Eugene/Gotmos. Nice roasty lager aroma, thin but clean. A bit of a nice malt in there, well balanced. Not a bad brew at all.

Bottle: Thanks gotmos! Pours brown with a bubbly off white ring for head. Decent roasted malt nose. Thin bodied, with slight metallic notes. Has a hint of roast, and is better than I expected.

Bottle shared by someone. Interesting. A bit wierd. Smooth, earthy, like bread and butter biscuits baked a little too long. Could go either way on this one.

Bottle, thanks to beastiefan2k I think. Clear brown pour. Aroma is some toasted malt, and a little chocolate. The flavor is the same.

Not much head as it pours pretty still. there’s some sourness on top of the really tasty toast flavor. Sweet caramel and maltiness are the real stars here. Great? No. Not bad either though just a tad on the sweet side.

Bottle: a bit malty with a raisin like sweetness, weak roasted notes, some herbal-flowery hops the gives some nice dry bitterness. overall the beer is quite thin and weak flavored. ok, not more.

as happy as I was with the taybeh regular, I wasn’t quite as pleased with the dark version. Now that I see it is a bock, it makes much more sense. It’s not bad for a bock, but I was expecting more of a Negra Modelo feel and it was basically a dark watery carbonated beverage.
