Bottle - much thanks to KerenMK for the new country tick! Pours clear dark brown to black with a ruby tint, medium off-white head that slowly disspates with nice lacing. Aroma is malty with notes of roasted malt, caramel, grass, and perhaps a bit of metal. Flavor is the same, initially smoky and a bit salty, although the smokyness fades with time. Medium sweet with a light grassy/metallic bitterness. Medium body. Interesting and certainly drinkable.

Bottle from DSG. Thanks Barak! It pours a very dark brown with a thin, disappearing khaki head. The aroma is pleasing with some sweet cocoa powder, toast and light notes of earthy hops and sulfur. The flavor has more toast and light cocoa, vanilla and hints of diluted molasses, roasted malt and earthy hop bitterness in the finish. There’s a touch of metal and green/raw malt that throws it off a bit and keeps it from being truly enjoyable, but I liked the toast and cocoa flavors. The body is a bit thin too, but not too bad for a lower gravity Dunkler Bock. I’d drink this on the regular if options were slim.

Backlog rating. 33cl bottle at Chriso’s May tasting, London. It pours a deep copper color with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, vanilla, earth, ripe fruits, booze, dust. Taste is sweet, with notes of toffee, biscuit, musty fruit, sweet malts, grains. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Overall, meh

Dark reddish brown colour, diminishing beige head. Malty aroma, caramel, light coffee. Sweet malty flavour, sweet caramel. Bit thin body. Sweet caramel finish. Not bad, bit on the sweet side for me, but not bad at all.
(from 33cL bottle @ RBBWG III, Gent. Thanks for sharing, Eugene!!)

33cl bottle thanks to Nustu. Pours dark with a reddish hue and a decent head. The nose has a sour taste again, hard cherries, Lewis says. The taste is quite sour again and it seems like it’s off.

Bottle shared by Eugene/Gotmos. Nice roasty lager aroma, thin but clean. A bit of a nice malt in there, well balanced. Not a bad brew at all.

Not much head as it pours pretty still. there’s some sourness on top of the really tasty toast flavor. Sweet caramel and maltiness are the real stars here. Great? No. Not bad either though just a tad on the sweet side.

(Bottle) Pours dark brown. The aroma is malty, bready, chocolaty and fruity with sweet undertones. The flavour is roasted and light burned with chocolate notes as well as hints of liquorice and violet. Light alcohol warmth is present. The mouthfeel is clean and light crisp. Near medium bodied.

Bottle: Thanks gotmos! Pours brown with a bubbly off white ring for head. Decent roasted malt nose. Thin bodied, with slight metallic notes. Has a hint of roast, and is better than I expected.

Bottle, thnx to Tomer. Pours a clear dark brown beer with a small off white head on top. Aroma is very malty, fruits and quite promising. Flavour seems a bit infected I guess, sour fruits and Brett-like characters going on that doesn’t really suits Mr. Looking at older ratings showed that is wasn’t any sour before, most sour trails come from pay few months. Seems like am off batch to me.
