Bottle @ the RBESG08 Grand Tasting.
Pours deep brown with a small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma is sweet, light chocolate and rather earthy. Okay mouthfeel. Fine flavour, good chocolate, lightly roasted - not dissimilar in style to the Bgedal beers. Nice.

Good beer. Malty brown. Somewhat dry and a fairly strong roast notes. Note a bad beer.

UPDATED: JUN 14, 2014 My first new local beer of what I hope to be many as I enjoy a two-month stay in Israel for a summer internship. Enjoyed a bottle of this from a street-side caf in the Old City of Jerusalem, cant think of a better setting than being at the brewery in the West Bank, which may be on the agenda for later in this trip. Features a solid brown-black schwarze style appearance with good white foamy head. Aroma was roasty and sweet, decent. Taste was very good, full roasty malt flavor that finishes almost with a burnt bitterness but is refreshing in its own way. Chocolate or caramel malt notes throughout. Full texture was enjoyable. Classified as a dunkel bock here but reminded me more of a shwarzebier. Either way a solid local brew, definitely will continue to sample this throughout my stay. Simple and not as sophisticated as most American micro-brew beer, but still respectable and recommended. Be sure to toast to peace for Palestine!

Dark copper brown color, small off-white head. Nutty, toasted chestnut aroma. Grassy, woody hoppy, caramelly flavor. Suprsingly good one from Palestine (this bottle was original, not one from Germany).

Bottle from DSG, thanks! Deep dark brown color, pours a big head. Caramel, roast, coffee and milk chocolate in the aroma. Malt, chocolate and roast in the flavor. Almost medium bodied, but still with a cream and cacao mouthfeel. Liked it!

Bottle - much thanks to KerenMK for the new country tick! Pours clear dark brown to black with a ruby tint, medium off-white head that slowly disspates with nice lacing. Aroma is malty with notes of roasted malt, caramel, grass, and perhaps a bit of metal. Flavor is the same, initially smoky and a bit salty, although the smokyness fades with time. Medium sweet with a light grassy/metallic bitterness. Medium body. Interesting and certainly drinkable.

Bought in a shop in Bethlehem. PRO 12/04/2014 - EXP 12/04/2015
Dark in the glass with a white head. slightly roasted smell. The beer starts smooth with a nice roasted caramel aroma. Not too sweet. The mainpart is full-bodied, nice caramel, slightly roasted with hints of sourness. Smooth. The aftertaste is medium, slightly malty sweet, nearly no bitterness.
Very nice for a beer from Palestine. 11/12/9/10
