Wow, a Palestinian beer! Bottle straight from the fridge of my diplomat friend in Jerusalem while I was on holiday. Pours a dark brown with large off-white head. Aroma of dark malts, somewhat sweet, hints of anise. Flavor of smoky malts and light caramel. Definite ash as the reviewer before me notes.

Dark reddish brown colour, diminishing beige head. Malty aroma, caramel, light coffee. Sweet malty flavour, sweet caramel. Bit thin body. Sweet caramel finish. Not bad, bit on the sweet side for me, but not bad at all.

Tasting at the ever gracious ChrisO’s. Clear deep amber beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate is light and airy, modest fine carbonation. Slightly candyish sweet fruits, sweet dried fruits. Touch of tea. Light dry finish. Slightly odd but drinkable.

Thanks Tomer. Brown color with an off-white head with short duration. Aroma has notes of dry fruits, caramel and toasted malts. Flavor is quiet similar as aroma with sweet notes. HIgh carbonation in the final with a mild sweetness.

Bottle. An almost clear one, dark reddish brown in color and with a dense, dark beige head. The aroma has prunes and raisins, with some coffee and dark sugars. Malty hints. The flavor is mostly on the dry side, but some sugars are present. Roasted notes, dried fruits and some caramel. Medium body, soft carbonation. Dried fruits and caramel in the finish. Drinkable, boring. 141231

Bottle sent to me in trade with kerenmk. Country #120. Poured a deep chestnut brown with an off white, soon dissipating, head. Aroma of roasted malt with mild chocolate notes. Medium sweet, with a baiter sweet finish. Body is thin, texture oily. Carbonation is average. It’s ok, and a great country tick thanks to Keren.
