COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Unpasteurised.
Ingredients: Malted barley, hops, pure water, and yeast.
A distinctively flavoured beer with a clean, crisp taste. Taybeh (tai-bey) in Arabic means "delicious." Our Taybeh beer is hand-crafted in small batches in German traditional style using a top fermenting yeast and cold lagering. Brewed with only the finest natural ingredients. The fresh, flavourful alternative to imported beers.
This beer is also brewed for export at Strubbe in Belgium.

Bottled, 75cl champagne-corked. (5.2%) Clear, golden beer with a small white head. Fruity, grainy and grassy aroma. The flavor is fruity as well, lightly malty, grassy and hayish. Medium body. The last time I sampled this beer it had a distinct cellar aroma and flavor, which made it a bit more interesting, but that was maybe a flaw? Anyhow, itís very decent for a Mediterranian beer. There seems to be a german version of this beer as well, and I guess it is the one I sampled, as it was bought in Flensburg. (060812)

Bottle 75 cl. Surprisingly bad beer. Not much of anything here. A weird fruity acetic finish and a very high price. But its a new country ...

I recall drinking Taybeh in Ramallah, just down the road from the brewery, and being pleasantly surprised. Granted, my choices may have been limited in the West Bank, but I found it to be a decent lager, fairly crisp. Havenít seen it in the US or tried the European brew.

Sweet cornstrachy, vegetale, mainstream beer. Not overly offensive, but not much to it, but if you are drinking this beer, its unlikely it is for the taste..... countrywhores!
