| A Golden Ale/Blond Ale brewed by Taylor Brewing Company Lombard, Illinois USA
| |
frankenkitty (1799), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Oct 10, 2006 Served a clear, mid-amber color with steady effervescence and a white halo. Diacetyl nose, butterscotch and malt. Tart vinegar notes strike with a raspberry fruitiness and that picks things up a bit. Adjuncty flavor of cardboard with a bittersweet finish. Exponentially sub-par.

Cornfield (4343), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Jun 11, 2006 No one at the brewpub could tell me much about this beer, an ale with "a flavor profile of a light pilsner beer." The barmaid said she was told it was an ale. (Great staff training here.) It’s yellow, headless, and smells heavily of corn syrup with traces of earthy hops. The flavor is like candy corn with a mild bitterness added. Marvelous. Taylor Brewing Company, Lombard, IL
