A blend of premium Belgian malts, plus German and Pacific Northwest hop varieties gives this luscious, copper-hued ale a wonderful complex aroma, a rich depth of flavour, and smooth drinkability.

Draft - Pale malts and light caramel. Clear copper with a decent white head. Caramel and a woody hop that has a slight bitterness. Not much depth here, very plain.

Pours a clear bright copper, fine off-white foam. Aroma of spiced caramel and hops. Taste is lightly spiced toffee slightly floral and herbal, a hint of hops. Nice carbonation, light-medium bodied, moderately hopped... Nice beer.

355 ml bottle, Red Truck Ale brewed by the Red Truck Beer Company. Clear bright red copper, fine off-white foam settles and lasts. Aroma of spiced caramel/toffee malt. Taste is lightly spiced toasted caramel/toffee malt, slightly floral and herbal, a hint of evergreen. Average carbonation, light-medium bodied, moderately hopped. Sessional, good local effort. Aroma malty hoppy blend. Sweet front with hop side end. Nice.
Appearance :
Top: medium rocky off white top.
Base: milky hazed amber.
Palate : clean approach, easy going, sessionable.
Taste: golden malts with milder hop side.
Other notes very pleasant as mild cask ale.
