Red Truck Lager found around town will typically be brewed at Taylor's. It is the same as Dominion Lager, though the Dominion Lager name will eventually be phased out.

Blond color. A simple Lager, with some hidden quality (light crispy malt), low bitterness in the beginning, ordinay bitterness at the end; the finish is quite dry.

On tap. A lightly hazy beer topped by a decent, off-white head. Lightly citrusy and malty aroma, some caramel notes, all quite weak. Rather boring flavor too, there’s no real errors going on, it’s just boring. Lacking a bit on bitterness I think. It sort of reminds me of a generic boring bitter, so it’s not completely free for hops though. Medium body, soft carbonation. A boring beer I sure won’t miss. 130704

Golden colour. Bright. Thick, rich foam. Fresh bready malt aroma with a little bit of grassy hop. Very fresh bread crust flavour. Moderate body. Hops are light, slighlty grassy. Very clean. Typical of Mark James lagers - very well made.

Pale golden colour, thin lace. Fairly typical grassy aroma. Flavour shows grassiness, hay, and a touch of melon fruitiness. Still pretty typical.

Draught at The Alibi Room, Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Clear pale golden colour with small white head. Sweet malty aroma with cider or soda sweetness. Sweet grainy malty flavour with some caramel and notes of mild hops. Quite balanced. Good Lager.

Clean-ish aroma with hints of grass, bread, cereal, and corn nuts. Pours golden, not much in the way of head or lace. The flavor is that of light corn nuts, cereal grains, bread, and light hop bitterness in the finish. Not remarkable, but I had a few so it must not have been that bad eh.

On draught at the Taylor’s Crossing Brewpub as Dominion Lager, north of Vancouver, BC. Pours a clear pale blond brew with a creamy white head that slowly dissipates to a cream top and excellent lacing. Aroma of sweet bread dough, flowery hops and a touch of fruit. Taste is light to medium bodied, with flavors of white bread dough, flowery hops and a touch of pear. Finish is semi-sweet, flowery and a light malt aftertaste.

Corn features prominently in the nose along with grassy and citrus notes. Brilliantly clear golden body is topped by a low, fine bubbled head that recedes to ring with some lacing. Citrus and toasted malt flavours play well with mild bitterness. Corn lingers in the aftertaste. Light body with fair to moderate carbonation. A pleasantly quaffable pint.
