Who nicked the hops? Malty red ale with low hopping. Welcome to the world of Japanese Alts. Straight forward, bready, caramel and very soft finish. Stuck in first gear unfortunately.

Draught at the brewpub.
Great rocky head and a rich, amber color. Caramel aroma with some bitter hops. Rather rich and one-dimensional. Fruity, caramel flavor with nice dryness, especially at the finish. Slight flavors of cherry and dark fruits; intensely bitter finish. Full-flavored.

A dark caramel color with a small beige head. Smells great! Crystal? malts with traditional German style hops, it smells "chewy"! The bitter bite of the hops jumps out up front, the sweeter malts are there and make a valiant attempt to take center stage, but alas, it is not to be. The day belongs to the hops. Delicious!
