I'm trying to compare this to other IPA-type beers. I like the malty-ness, definitely balances the hops. Because I am not a hop-head (decidedly the opposite), I probably can't be completely objective, but this one, I would drink again. Very fresh.

A fantastic APA that has the balance that makes the type an awesome summer brew. Cereal, syrup, biscuit, citrus, hoppy bitterness.

Pours a slight hazy amber color with a gorgeous one-inch white foamy head that clings to the glass. A bouquet of hop aromas, citrus, pine, and floral come to the nose along with subtle fruity esters. The palate is very smooth and inviting, medium bodied, with a pleasing finish. The flavor is filled with juicy hops delicately balanced between a light sweetness of the malt and the soft citrus and earthy bitterness of the hops. This is a fantastic APA. I wished I lived closer to Strongsville to drink this beer more often!

The most easy drinker that I know of. Perfect balance between the malt and the hops. Not to bitter with a perfect amount if alcohol. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Great brew. Smell of sweet and hops. Good brew and good looking brew. I would recommend as a great starter american pale ale.

A nice light hop aroma - quite dark for a pale ale. This is pretty hoppy; a grainy oatish flavor; bitter near the end but the aftertaste is smooth enough.

Bottle courtesy of miketd. Pours a hazy amber-orange color. Moderate white head with decent retention and mild lacing. Strong hoppy aroma of pine, floral and citrus hops. Flavor is noticeably hoppy, with plenty of citrus, pine and grassy notes. But at the same time, the hops don’t completely dominate the flavor, leaving fruity and sweet caramel notes. Medium mouthfeel with a slightly dry, bitter finish. An excellent APA.

Bomber from Whole Foods Marker - Dublin, OH. Pours a clear copper with a large creamy off-white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of big earthy, floral hops and big toffee malts. The taste is toffeeish malts, resin and citrus hop notes. Well balanced. I’m really starting to dig these guys’ hoppy stuff.

This brew carries a big floral, citrus and pine hop aroma. The flavor follows suit with hints of grapefruit, pine and orange. The beer pours a marmalade color with an off-white head of just under and inch. The head dissipates slowly and laces nicely. There is a nice medium body to this as well as a soft carbonation with a long finish of pine. The bitterness of this beer is expected as it carries four hops: Cascade, Centennial, Columbus and Chinook. The bitterness is balanced nicely, however by some malty undertones that become stronger as the brew warms.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle date. Pours slightly hazy golden orange color with a nice 2 finger dense off white head with great retention that reduces to a lacing cap. Some spotty lacing on the glass as well. Aromas of big grapefruit, orange peel, herbal, pine, caramel, biscuit, and spiciness. Damn nice and well balanced aromas with good strength. Taste of grapefruit, orange, pine, caramel, herbal, biscuit, and spiciness. Good amount of bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, orange, pine, caramel, and biscuit on the finish for a bit. Great balance of bitterness and sweetness make this super smooth to drink. Medium carbonation and body; with a slightly creamy mouthfeel. Alcohol is well hidden with only a slight warming after the finish. Overall this is one of the better American pale ales I have ever had. Great balance, yet still has plenty of hoppiness that would satisfy any true hophead.
