On draft from the Brew Kettle. Pours a mostly clear yellow/ gold with a white head. Nose is sweet malt, light yeast, a bit of dough, and some mild grassy hops. Flavor delivers on the promises of the nose. From start to finish this one is an enjoyable helles. Light in body and refreshing.

Aroma: Bread and hay malts, but very faint.
Appearance: Clear pale gold with a nice white head.

Palate: Light body, slick texture, average carbonation, decent finish.
Overall: It’s a solid beer, well developed and designed, but nothing mind blowing.

draft at brew kettle- one of the best beers from the brewery- very similar to prima pils- great hop flavor, flowery and pungent, backed up by nice grainy sweetness.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 fiver29 (1025) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - APR 2, 2009
On tap at the brew kettle. Pours clear golden color with off white head. Aroma is mainly malt grain. Medium body. Flavor is more grainy flavors and finishes with a dry somewhat bitter, gritty taste. Not one of my favorites.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 shigadeyo (2400) - Harrison, Ohio, USA - NOV 19, 2008
Unknown Date: RN Big Woody Lager is a fairly generic beer. It could be served in a long line-up of transparent golden beers and there would be no way to pick it out. Its appearance, aroma, and flavor are all generic and average. It does have a soft body which was nice as I didn’t feel all gassy inside after drinking it!
Draught at The Brew Kettle in Strongsville, Ohio. Rating #23 for this beer...
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 kramer (3880) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 7, 2008
22 oz bottle, via crizay. Pours a clear yellow gold with a one finger fizzy foamy white head. Some minimal lacing. The nose is very light with some DMS and crackery malt. The flavor is just a slight notch over BMC in it’s character. Light, minimal bitterness, a touch of cereal grain, and not much else. Very surprised to learn that there’s no corn in here. Mouthfeel is light bodied and airy with moderate fizzy carbonation. Overall, not much better than the average Macro, but at least you can feel good about buying it from a little guy!
