Our mild American ale is a great accompaniment to spicy and BBQ fare. One of our most popular offerings.

A touch of caramel aroma starts this beer off. It pours a clear reddish-amber, with a finger of white head. Easy drinking beer, biscuity malts and caramel finish. Nothing outstanding about this beer, but very easy to drink.

Pours a nice coppery color with a very light tan head. Itís sweet and malty in both aroma and flavor. Mediocre, but not bad by any stretch.

From the 4/2012 3R6P tasting. +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured an orange-caramel color with a small soapy white head that left a touch of lacing. The aroma was crystal malt and vague fruity hops. The flavor was caramel, grapefruit, pine, crystal malt and a hint of orange. The finish was medium length caramel, crystal malt and vague fruit. Medium body. Uninspired.

From a bomber. A lttle darker than a pale lager. Smell is sweet bready yeast. Taste follows the aroma, quite malty. Though quite malty, with a little caroub, not really over the hedge. A little difficult on a long swig. A little medicine builds during the session. Finish is same. $4.99 for this bomber.

22 ounce bottle. Served in a Sam Adams Boston Lager glass, the beer pours a clear amber color with about a half inch off-white head that went away quickly. Thereís a good amount of lacing left on the glass. The beer smells like toffee, toasted and bready malt, and some light fruitiness. The taste is similar to the aroma, but thereís also a bit of caramel flavor noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, itís a bit slick and creamy and has moderate carbonation. Itís also smooth and goes down easy. I think itís a decent enough beer overall. If I remember correctly this was just $3.99 a bottle at my local Giant Eagle, so at that price Iíd buy it again.

22 ounce bottle, no freshness date. Pours crystal clear golden orange color with a nice 2 finger off white head with very good retention that reduces to a fairly thick lacing cap. A fair amount of lacing clings to the glass. Aromas of caramel, toasted malt, bread, and light citrus notes with some light spiciness. Some pretty faint aromas that have some good balance. They get a bit stronger as the beer warms. Taste of caramel, bread, toasted malt, light citrus, and spiciness. Fair amount of bitterness on the finish; with linger notes of caramel, bread, citrus, and spiciness on the finish. Medium carbonation and a light-medium body; with a slightly creamy mouthfeel. Great drinkability as expected for 5%; with no alcohol noticed in the taste or finish. Nice balance of flavor and bitterness. Overall this is a pretty nice amber ale that is easy to drink and quite enjoyable.

Bomber from Whole Foods Market Columbus/Dublin, OH. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized fizzy brown head that fades quickly. Aroma of leafy hops and toffeeish malts. The taste is toffee malts, toasted malts, spicy hops. Medium-full bodied. Well balanced. Another nice one from Brew Kettle.

Pours amber with a slight khaki head. A hint of malt on the nose. Moderate carbonation smooth balanced taste but not particularly complex. Clean finisher. Meh!

22 oz bottle. Poured an amber color with little head at all. Not much aroma if any. Taste was just an average beer. I was a little disappointed in this offering from TBK because most of their other stuff is really really good. Only good thing was is that the 22oz bottle was only 3.99!!

not much aroma, light malt floral rose smell with little head. rich amber color. Tastes strongly of rose with caramel malt flavors on the back of the tongue and light bitter hoppiness with no aftertaste. Donít drink this one really cold, its much more flavorful just slightly chilled.
