COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A true TBK original, we kick this German-style black lager up a couple notches. Big clean malty flavor with just a hint of roasted malt. "May the Schwartz be with you!"

Bottle. Poured a dark clear black color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting and produced good lacing. Moderate toasted malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium roasted sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable brew.

Draft... GABF ’06... Clear amber lager with a mid-sized, creamy, off-white head. Terrific retention. Chocolatey sweet aroma and flavor, but not cloying. Medium-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Finishes chocolatey, lightly sweet and medium bitter.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2012 Bottle @ Dan’s house. Dark brown appearance with a tan head. Rich chocolate, herbal, grassy, light coffee aroma. Herbal, minty, dark chocolate, roasty, straw flavor. Not nearly as boozy as the last time I had it.
