3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle:   Bright amber, moderate foamy sandy head, fairly nice lacing.   Big citrus peel and pith nose, slightly candied.   Similar on the tongue, a bit more sweet than the nose suggested.   Not a hop bomb, nor a malt bomb, nice citrusy background that is a bit candied and sweet.   Hides the 9% ABV really well.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Strong sweet tea leaf on the backside, along with citrus peel and pith, a bit candied.   Not your average overly hopped IIPA, nor super malty, seems perhaps a 1½ IPA, but a good one at that.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nearly clear amber, with a short, quick, off-white head.
Taste is spicy, bready, orange-sweet over herbal/leafy bitter.
Ok, but mild for an Imperial.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate grain, caramel, light fruit, and just a touch of citrus. It pours a transparent amber with a soapy one finger head that leaves behind a lot of sticky webbing on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with moderate caramel and light fruit. The finish has light-moderate grain with mild citrus hops. It’s medium bodied with mild carbonation and a somewhat sticky mouthfeel. Overall, really disappointing after White Raja...maybe a bad/old bottle?

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours clear golden with medium white head. Aroma is sweet bready malt with some floral and citrus hops. Taste is sweet bread upfront that fades into dank resinous hops on the follow through. Aftertaste is lingering bitter pine and grapefruit. Palate feels thicker than expected with some stickiness. Overall nice balanced double IPA.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy orange color with a thick foamy head that fades very slowly and leaves big lacing. Aroma is very hoppy but some very noticeable malt too. Pineapple, mangos, pine, toffee, caramel, grass and wood. Taste is sugary sweet with a moderate bitterness. Fresh hops with a sweet malty backbone. Medium body, kinda oily, maybe a tad overcarbonated and foamy. Overall, a bit too sweet but still very enjoyable.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft to taster at Dutch’s. Looks good; a transparent full orange with off-white lacing. Smells and tastes solid; hoppy and malty with a nice, smooth mouthfeel. Good beer, but I prefer White Rajah.
