Smooth and bitter. The hops are well balanced with the malt. The 9% makes it a slow drinker.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle @ home, thanks to michcam8 for sending. Pours a touch hazy bright orange appearance with an off white head. Aroma is a little spicy and creamy with lots of passion fruit, grapefruit, and oranges. Medium body. A touch boozy. Flavors of candy, tropical fruit, spicy hops, and pineapple. Fine.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured a pale gold with a frothy off white head. Aroma is citrus , biscuit malt, and floral hops. Flavor is sweet with tropical citrus fruits (grapefruit/lime) and herbal bitterness. Medium bodied with a slight chewy mouthfell. Sweet finish with little to no bitterness. Didn’t have much an expectation for this, but I must say that it is a juicy brew. Rich tropical flavor with minimal bitterness. Probably a better summer brew. Makes me wish winter was over.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a bright hazy gold with great head retention throughout. Aroma of ripe citrus, banana, funky pine, and densely-sweet floral. Warm tropical fruit in flavor, sticky maltiness with a sharp floral hop on the roof of the mouth. Very interesting and very flavorful.

12oz bottle - Dark orange translucent orange with small foamy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is insane- tons of citrus- mango, pineapple, and peaches. Flavor is sweet and tangy, with great tropical fruits, piney hops, and slight bitter grapefruit, and light amber malts. I’ve had this before but it has never tasted better- wish I knew what batch it was

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Orange caramel malt and pine/grapefruit peel aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet orange toffee malt and moderately strong bitter grapefruit peel/pine flavor. Nice balance between the hops and malt without being too sweet. Very nice.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
From a bottle into a small glass. Pours with a massive thick head. Lots o lacing. Dank grassy aroma. Mouthfeel is thick. Taste is kind of a muddle of tropical fruit and pine with some skunk and herbs. Pretty good. I liked it more than my rating suggests. But it's not great.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle with Paul. Pours a clear golden body with thick white head and lacing. Aroma is soapy, fresh grassy hops and clean pale malt. Mouthfeel is thin, clean and soft with more malt character coming through than preferred, but still nice.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
"citrus, tropical and grapefruit hops in the nose and flavor. a little too much biscuit malt (no date on the bottle so can’t tell the age) prevents this from receiving a really high score. still very nice and an easy drinking iipa. thanks ggrumet!"

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle received in trade from a non-RB member. Lovely medium amber pour leading up to a tremendous off-white head. The aroma is nicely hopped and full of toasted biscuit characteristics. Superior balance and inviting. The body is medium to full and smooth. Malt characters begin the consumption experience but then like a funnel the earthy, bitter hops trickle in and then abound.
