Sample at the Brew Kettle on 3/23/14. Clear amber pour with a medium beige head. Aroma of malt, vanilla and slight berry. Malty flavor with vanilla and raspberry before a graham cracker finish. Tasty.

On tap at the brew kettle. Pours dark reddish color with thin white head that doesn’t last. Aroma is a nice mix of vanilla and fresh raspberries. Flavors are vanilla and raspberry that is not cloyingly sweet. A nice brew.

This beer has a very nice color and is very balanced. Tastes really good with dessert!

7/09/2008: RN Vanilla Frambozen is red-brown in color and doesn’t have any foam. The red raspberry aroma is accompanied by a pretty sweet but balanced flavor of real raspberries and caramelized sugar. There is a slight vanilla flavor as well. This beer has an average body and mouthfeel and is decent overall.

22 fl. oz. bottle from The Brew Kettle in Strongsville, Ohio. Rating #19 for this beer.

This poured a nice ruby red color with a fluffy off white head. Aroma was of really sweet rasberries and a hint of vanilla. Flavor was yeasty with some really sweet almost overbeariong raspberry taste with a hint of vanilla again. Not bad, but a bit too sweet for my liking.

Bottle: Poured a light clear amber color ale with a good size foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is a nice enough mix between some vanilla and some raspberries. Taste is a well balance mix between some raspberries (real no syrup) with some distinctive notes of vanilla and a good medium sweet malt backbone. Full body with some good carbonation and no discernable alcohol. I wasn’t sure the mix between vanilla and raspberries would work but I was quiet impressed.

Poured a deep amber color with a red tint and thin off-white head. The aroma was of very mild raspberry and paper. The flavor was mildly sweet with mild raspberry and a hint of vanilla. Light caramel as well.

On tap at the Brew Kettle. Poured clear ruby with a creamy cap of pinkish-white head. The aroma picked up sweeter raspberries upfront with wheat tartness and more sweetness than substance from the vanilla. The flavor had significant vanilla all the way through, leaving a sweet, fresh whole bean impression on the finish.. lesser raspberry seeds provided some tartness on the back.. very sweet and absent of alcohol. This was a bit too sweet for me on the palate, and I would’ve liked more raspberry tartness.. nice flow across the palate.. tasty overall!

Bottle shared by goldtwins. Ruddy-brown beer, very clear. Aroma is loaded with raspberry and light vanilla. Smells very sweet and candyish. Very fruity and sweet with a light chocolate maltiness as well. Boozy and a bit plasticy. It’s tastes like cheap Black Forest Cake frosted with cough syrup.

Courtesy of kmweaver. Clear dark amber body with a small beige head. The nose is massively sweet with lots of raspberry and caramel. The flavor is moderately sweet and medicinal with lots of cherry, caramel, cotton candy and plastic. Medium/full body is round with moderate carbonation.
