Fantastic ipa from a small brewery near cleveland. This beer has a nose that you could smell for hours. The most fragrant and delicious ipa on the market

Bottle from Palmer's in Columbus. Aroma is hop resin, nice. Flavor is good but pretty one note--bitter all the way. Good but not great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Medium sized white head with fair retention and skimpy lacing. Clear light copper/gold hued brew. Quaint nose of citrus and grass, light malts. Body is light, sorta watery with a nice carbonation. Lightly sweet malts, little grainy with a grassy hop flow. Dry finish seems a bit more astringent than bitter. Surprised at the scores on this one. Mediocre at best.

Bottle - Pours honey amber with a big foamy white head. Nose is loads of citrus, and honey--sweet honey bread malt. Light pine and herbal notes--very pungent, crisp and fresh. The first couple of sips, a strong bitter grassy hop profile shows it’s face and makes everything a little angular and mean. Thankfully that settles down and the whole thing mellows out. The bitterness is still there, but it’s more herbal and restrained. The sweet malt backbone is still there too, with less honey sweetness and more rustic graininess. There’s a bit too much bitter/boozy hoppy/resiny notes through the finish, but it’s not so terrible that it ruins the whole thing. Feels great in the mouth, with velvet carbonation that almost feels like nitro. Impressed, and glad I didn’t get one of the bad bottles that I’ve heard others have opened.

Tasted this during Brew Week in Athens Ohio 2012. Pours a golden brown with a medium white head. Heavy hops aroma of spruce and citrus. Very strong bitter taste, but is not unpleasant. The body is light with a somewhat fluffy texture and a bitter finish that doesn’t sit in the mouth. Very enjoyable IPA.

Bright golden tangerine body with a minimal ivory head that left a ring or two of lacing. Pungent orange pith, citrus, evergreen and tropical fruit in this one. Nice malt backbone to round it out and provide balance. Bit of a peppery spice also from the hops. Medium mouthfeel...solid.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Duvel tulip, 2031 73e0f04 stamped on the bottle.

A: Clear amber body with fine carbonation from the nucleation point to the thin creamy off-white head.

A: Holy tropical! Lots of pineapple, oranges and mango with a very mild bitterness to accent the sweet aroma.

T: Whoa, this has excellent balance. A moderately bitter grapefruit blends with pineapple and mango throughout. A lingering bitterness sits on my tongue long after I’ve swallowed.

M: This was a trade so I feel some carbonation may have been lost as there’s none on the tongue here. Medium bodied.

O: Oh boy this is a great IPA that has great balance. I wish I could get this year round.

UPDATED: OCT 19, 2012 This is really good. I have driven past brew kettle a few times but from now on I will stop in and see what they have to offer. I am an IPA lover and I must say this is heads above anything I have tasted. Piney citrusy in the most assertive way possible without being overpowering. Awesome, truly awesome. I can’t imagine what better tastes like.

Nice. orangey with a decent white head. It is fresh, citrusy bitter, but well balanced. It’s good.
