A West Coast style IPA full of citrus-like and tropical fruit-like hop flavor and aroma with an assertive yet smooth bitter finish. .....malt, take a back seat please.

Semco comes through on the nose and the tongue. Yet tropical fruit and citrus pine are key on the tongue. A nice solid bitter finish. This is a good IPA for the IPA lover. Nice head that fades. Nice mouthfeel... could be a bit more solid. Not bad all in all however. Enjoyable.

12oz bottle shared by JohnGonk. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a small off white head. Aroma dank citrus, sweet tropical fruit, tangerine skins, and caramel malt. Taste of bitter citrus zest, grapefruit pulp, caramel malt, and pine.

Bottle from my secret Santa umich03jm. Thanks man! Pours a nice hazed orange with a small white head. Aroma is excellent. Lots of tropical fruit and citrus, as well as a fair amount of pine. Flavor strikes a balance between the tropical fruit and citrus notes, provides medium bitterness. Crisp, fresh, enjoyable. Lively carbonation, finishes bitter. This is a world class IPA.

Great tropical fruit flavors with grapefruit and orange at the forefront. Also get some earthy/grassy flavors. Fantastic IPA. Actually reminds me a little bit of Columbus IPA.

bottle via trade. nose of light fruits and a touch of danky, earthiness. kind of on the low end for an IPA. clear, dark gold color. small white head. all hop bitterness and flavor, but itís just kind of bland. I guess itís just the typical American hops. Nothing wrong with it, but with all the new lupulin shift.

A: Golden orange, slight haze. S: Pineapple, mango, a lot of tropical fruitiness T: Fruitiness upfront that fades to a bitterness. Grapefruit, tropical. Dry malt backbone with some bread notes M: light to medium, a little gritty O: Amazing aroma but the flavor is just okay with a harsh bitterness.

Gold pour with soapy white head. Awesome tropical citrus nose. Taste is less tropical and citrus which is a bit of a letdown. Maybe the bottle is not as fresh as I thought. Typical west cost IPA with little malt backbone. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

1/19/14 bottle from a trade with kevin drank while watching pats vs saints and Shan burnt dinner. Great grapefruit/ orange nose. Could smell it as soon as I opened the bottle. Strong citrus taste with some late hitting pine numbs the tongue slightly. Very good for a regular IPA ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a mostly translucent golden orange with a large foamy white head. Aroma of citrus zest, pine and nice floral hop notes. Some hints of caramel and bready malt. Flavor of grapefruit. Wow grapefruit bomb and I love it. Some malt sweetness but overall finishes dry with an aggressive bitter hop bite.
