UPDATED: FEB 10, 2012 Source: Can. Tastes like corn flour, soar nothing boiled in pee. My friend sneaked this can out from Mexico to Czech republic. Very brave and very informative. Tecate light is probably the worst beer I have ever tasted.

Single can from my hotel room minibar in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico on 11/07/2011. Colour: Light yellow with fizzy medium head. Nose: Corn, mold, urine. Taste: medium-light sweet, light bitter, light sweet. More corn, in fact all corn. Void of anything else. Very fizzy mouthfeel. Terrible.

Bottle at Ungstrup’s - Thanks. Pours a very pale yellow with a tiny white head. Sweet with a light maltyness. Light bodied. Soft carbonation. Thanks to Yespr for bringing this rare gem to Europe.

Can. A light yellow beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of metal and grain. The flavor is sweet with notes of cardboard, light malt, and a bit of metal, leading to a dry cardboard finish. Huge thanks to my friend yespr for bringing this gem home for me.

In Mexico - not much to this beer. Very little flavor. Good if you run out of water.

After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity wall adhesive white foam collar which was fine and even of structure. The beer also contained much carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a clear yellow color and a watery taste. The after tast of the beer is light hoppy bitter with a light musty touch . This beer smells to musty.
