I was hot, tired and thirsty....so yeah, I picked a six of this up and drank two very quickly. It wasn’t terrible and it quenched my thirst. That’s about all I can say about this beer.

24 ounce tall boy can purchased at the local Circle K. How fortunate I am to be able to try a light mexican lager. Fruity, corny, vegetal aroma with hints of licorice. Foul-smelling. Transparent yellow tinted water color. Virtually no head. What is there is about a couple of white bubbles. Hugely carbonated palate to start. Becomes. Um. Hmm...tastes like sparkling water with a little corn juice. Not much here at all. I feel stupid like walt.

I just hate this beer. No good attributes, not even the price here in the north of Mexico! It’s like watered-down Tecate. If you’re around the border, go for Indio, Victoria or Pacifico, never this...

Pour is clear golden yellow with a thin white head...smell is cabbage and slightly sour...taste is blech! vegetable and carboard...I feel stupid for having bought it.

Can. Very clear filtered medium straw body with a quickly fading foamy head. Nose-smells like a light pale lager. Taste-acidic, foul aftertaste, cardboard, sour apple, thin, unimpressive, unsweet hay, low alcohol sweetness, boring prickly CO2, pretty much what I expected out of Tecate Light.

que basura. cerveza mejicana bebible con marca. tipica cerveza latina que hay que tomarse rapido para que no se caliente y tenga mal sabor pero un poco mejor que las demas. facil de encontrar.

Free almost 1/2 can sample at the local grocery store. I figured I might as well try it, as I’ll probably never buy this in my lifetime.
Poured moderately yellow with no head. Smell was just light, sweet malt. Taste was like corn, sweet malt, and a hint of bitterness just to keep it real, because that’s how Tecate Light rolls. It really wasn’t that bad for a light beer, and it definitely wasn’t offensive at all. No off flavors and went down like water. Thanks, Tecate light sample hander-outers.

When tecate is just too damn heavy and the lime and salt fail you turn to tecate light. When all you really want is a light taste of sugar and water mixed with the faintest traces of alcohol, you need tecate light.
