Clear orange-red pour with a white head. Nose is salty and spicy. Some celery salt, tomato, jalapeno, and kind of a lemon-lime aroma. Somewhat watery. The flavor is mildly spicy. Tomato juice, salt, and celery salt. Water, lemon-lime, and a touch of chili pepper. Not awful, just not really my thing.

31 Jan 2013, can. very light orange, clear, occasional bubbles. nose is pretty much just sweet ginger ale. maybe heavy on the sweet, light on the ginger. thin body, a bit watery, slightly fizzy. dry wine and ginger ale. not what i’m looking for in a beer

Can as shown. Pours a clear gold with no head. The aroma is tomato and chili. Thick mouthfeel with a strong chili flavor and tomato juice. Not much going on with this one.

Can from the Citgo on Old Holzworth. Pours a decent mahogany with a nose of sewered tomatoes. I’m neither kidding nor exaggerating; I walked past a sewer drain last night and I think that was forshadowing this beer’s stench, er, aroma. Flavor is tomatoe juice, cheap Mexican lager, and a light finish of lime. Not horrible. Watery mouthfeel. Dream #12: Take a walk with pepsiedcan while he sips a Corona and I imbibe a Tecate Michelada.

Can from Nugget Market in Woodland, CA. Looks to be Chelada minus tomato and clam. Or Miller Chill with peppers. Off to be the first to tread this thing. Pours light amber gold with a fizzy near-white head that leaves pretty fast. Aroma is mostly lime. Med minus body. Flavor is lime enlivened by a decent level of pepper heat. A little pale malt comes out eventually. There may be a place for this with food. Ceviche?
