Tecate Michelada has a thin-to-medium, white head, a mostly clear, but with lots of roiling particulate matter, burnished gold (from the added caramel color), bubbly appearance. There is a thin lacing sheen left behind. The aroma is bold- Tecate lager with an overriding chili pepper, or even more so, chili powder smell, which fills the nose. There’s also a lime component, here. Taste is of the same, and the chili powder and lime ride side-by-side with this one. Mouthfeel is between light and medium, with some sliminess. Tecate Michelada finishes semi-dry and easy drinking. Overall, this is an interesting novelty beer. Check it out! RJT

Only 14 ratings? Thanks for the wale tick from Aaron! Clear orange pour with thin to no head, aroma brought lime, some lemon, hints of biscuit, corn and some wheat. Taste is lime, slight spice, corn, hints of biscuit, finishing fairly clean, dry. It is what it is.

Big fucken can @ home with my wife. Thus completing all beers offered when you search "chelada". Oddly orange with an off white head. Nice lime aroma and flavor in this one, a touch of acidity and saltiness keeps it from being too sweet. Not bad.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Burbank, Ca - 7-11 - 16 oz can. Pours a light copper, slight off-white bubbly head. Aroma of rotten eggs, a hint of lime. Flavor has a hint of margarita-like lime, some slight tomato accents, some pepper spiciness in the back end, some odd cardboard accents. Mouthfeel thin and uneventful. Not a memorable drinking experience.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Big fucken can @ home with Ben and Greg. Pours a clear dark orange appearance with very little head retention. Plenty of lime and fruit zest in the nose. Tangy, very fruity, soda-like flavor. Mild to moderately chuggable. Not as good as Bud Light Lime.
