I don’t consider myself a beer elitist, but I do enjoy a nice strong, complex beer over anything like this any day, but I will say, it is a refreshing beverage during a hot summer day . . Goes down smoother than Corona I think and doesn’t has as much of a corn flavor . .

Rating 17- I bought a six pack of this beer one day because I was curious about it for a while. It was about $5.50 for the sixer and I got home on a nice sunny day and drank a few outside. Not that bad of a beer, and it is many times better than Corona for me. I’ve only had it in a bottle which I’m sure makes a big difference as opposed to the can.

Clear, golden pour with white head. The aroma is dominated by grainy malt. The light body is crisp and smooth with an ever so slight bitterness that quickly fades into a clean finish. A decent beer for the style.

If you are into a watery, cheap product that tastes like some kind of watered down corn liquor then by all means this is the brew for you. It is just swill to pour down your throat on a warm day, as long as it is served cold. It doesn’t seem to give me a headache, which is a plus. I’ve had worse, to be honest, but this comes close. Aroma is of mild cereal, slight citrus. Carbonation is medium, light straw color, does have a soapy white head but quickly dissipates. One of the saddest excuses for beer on the market, but it does serve a function for many people.

Friend gave me beer: pours pale gold and the head leaves me before I can comprehend the existence of the aforementioned entity. I mean aroma and the taste is predominantly corn and sweet corn at that. I suppose there are hops... I suppose there are malts... I suppose there is beer... Did I notice any of these qualities beforehand? I would have to unequivocally say, no. As such, this is one of these beers that leaves you with a sense of mediocrity. There is totally nothing special about it. It is merely the embodiment of blandness.

Drank out of a bottle on Cinqo De Mayo. Came with a lime. Smelled and tasted of grainy, bread, and very watery.

Apparently it was time for me to rate Tecate. This is basically a small paragraph of words as a place marker to notate having this at some point. Other than that there’s just not much to say.
