Bottle pours gold with a quickly diminishing white head. Aroma is sweet with notes of grain and grass. Flavor shows corn. Overall body is light to moderate with a lightly bitter finish. I’ve had plenty of this stuff on vacations and it’s probably one of the better beers to come out of Mexico.

Tecate is not something you drink for it’s wonderful body, nor for it’s smooth finish, nor for the gentle way it comes across your tongue and palate, as none of these are true. Rather, Tecate is a beer you drink to get drunk. Cheap.

Can. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Pale yellow colour. Light malty and very light hoppy aroma. Light bitter ricey flavor. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate. Not very good.

Can with some taco’s! Pours an apple juice color with a frothy white head. Aroma is sweet and also a bit fruity and crisp. Lots of graininess. Flavor starts sweet and remains so throughout with a strong corniness and a with of a ripe apple fruit character. Again, crisp in the finish and just lightly bitter. Light to medium body and a crisp carbonation. Not a great beer but better for the mexican style than corona

I really enjoy Tecate when comparing it to other ultra-cheap lagers. It has a bit more taste to it than just the usual corn and water. I would have to say that Tecate is to Corona what Sam Adams is to Budweiser, if that makes sense.
of course keep in mind you are drinking cheap lager from mexico, so don’t expect anything too delicious

Not pale, but transparent with a small, quickly disappearing white head. Aromas of seltzer and recently dried paint. Light and thin with a long fizzy finish, this brew has no taste. The worst beer I have ever had.

very watery and clear. headless. i knew i was going to be disappointed when i had it but i couldnt believe it was going to be this bad.
