A Lager beer with a delicious aroma of malt and hops and a delicate balance in its subtle refreshing taste.

It is what it is...beer. Cheap beer, not terrible, not good. Best served ice cold on a hot day when quantity is preferred over quality.

Pours a clear golden color with white head. Not a whole lot to this one. Easy to drink and not much to it.

This is exactly what it is supposed to be - inoffensive, not a lot of taste, easy drinking beer for a hot summer day. Corn, sweetness - really just your typical macro lager ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear pale golden body w/ white head. Nose of fruity light malt. Grassy, cereal & citrus flavors. Typical Mexibeer.

Pale lager, you say? Ok, well, I’ve had this more than enough times and am glad I found my notes on this. Here we go, this oughta be fun. More than enough times, this was poured into a pint glass and a pilsener and actually, there really wasn’t much difference. The appearance was a super transparent looking light golden yellow color with a decent half finger white foamy head that dissipates at a rapid pace. Lacing - what lacing, there isn’t any lacing anywhere. Ever. The smell was some cooked corn/rice adjuncts. The taste was sweet through the cooked corn/rice adjuncts. There wasn’t any aftertaste nor was there any finish. On the palate, it sat exceptionally light and came across in a fairly bland sort of way indicating that there really isn’t much here anywhere. Its sessionable, if anything. Overall, pale lager, hmmm...not really, its a light lager as there’s no pale-ness anywhere in this beer. Does it go great with Mexican food? Actually, it sure does as there’s nothing really off nor is there anything great about this beer. Its nothing more than a Cinco De Mayo sort of beer if that’s your thing, but I’m not Mexican. Cheers to whoever likes this.

UPDATED: JUN 10, 2014 Light on alcohol but also light on flavor, Tecate tastes like corn water and cheap malts. Not something I would choose to have again.

Golden, effervescent, thin white head. Cereal, corn, and mild citrus aroma. Lite bodied, sweet malt, lite bitterness, medium dry finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

simple straightforward lager with no extra flavours or complexity. Serve cold for a refreshing drink but don’t expect anything special

12oz bottle pours a pale yellow color with a fizzy white head that leaves light lacing. Similarities to Dos Equis but not quite as flavorful.

24oz can. Red label. Pours deep yellow. No head. Aroma of stale corn, pale cereal. Flavor has a adjunct character that lasts forever. Boring. Disgusting. Not worth the $1.29 I paid for it. I’ll stick with a 24oz can of Modelo for a dollar more. (4051)
