As far as domestic style beers, one of the better ones. Far from good though. Pours an ugly yellow with a thick white head. Smells like old beer. Taste however isn't too bad. A little creamier then most domestics, with a bit of peach in the end. Smooth drink, but only would get with a lack of better options. Had in the can at the Greek Theater.

Dull, innocuous, light, inoffensive and every term I can think of to damn this beer with faint praise, yet somehow it hit the spot.
One of those beers that will never stand up to critical appraisal but is strangely worthy of downing a few on a hot day in the shower after work.

Average beer in every way. Lime helped, but still not anything worth a damn. But ok I guess.

UPDATED: SEP 19, 2013 I wanted to try some Mexican beers aside from the highly overrated Corona, and saw this one special, so I picked it up. Wish I hadn’t - it’s awful.
Absolutely scentless - I can’t smell a thing. Your average cheap lager has more aroma. Pours a dirty yellow, darker than most beers of this type, like old piss in a toilet that’s been stagnating for a few days. Flavor is faint - some corn and cardboard, but with a pronounced and nasty peppery bite. Unpleasant bitter aftertaste. There’s just really nothing to speak of here. Palate is a bit oily, very fizzy with carbonation that quickly recedes.
Overall, a terrible beer. Avoid.

There was a lime in it so the citrus is really the only aroma that came through. Pours a clear light golden color moderate head. good carbonation. Tastes mildly sweet a bitter like a lime. Boring but easy to drink.

Pours a light gold. Has a lime and malt aroma. Taste is like a light lager with some lime, pine, and some malt.

The beer arrives from the tap in a cylindrical room temperature beer vessel. The beer has a wispy, impotent white head. The body of this beverage is a brilliant transparent golden color. The aroma has sweet corn flavor that smells like the baseball diamond in Field of Dreams. The boiled corn notes are accentuated as I work my way through this beer.
The beer tastes of pale malts, fruit, and moderate corn notes. A light cracker flavor and sweet grain flavor comes through. I am a big fan of the cracker, in how it accentuates the corn flavor. This finishes with a metallic flavor, much like the flavor of heme. There also appears to be a mild, weedy grass flavor late.
I was a bit excited to rate a new Mexican pale lager, but this beer is outside of what I would like in a nice lager. The brewers were over-exuberant in their use of flaked maize in this concoction. Had they used less corn, and more grassy hop presence, it would be fantastic.

This isn’t very good. I had my wife try it as a guinea pig before I would even try it. She told me that she liked it better than a Budweiser. No way. This taste like rubbery water. Yuch!

Pours a golden yellow with a small head. It has a sweet slightly malty aroma with a roast malt taste. The finish is crisp, dry, and s bit of sweetness. One of the most enjoyable Mexican beers I have tried. Also, it’s great with a burrito de fajita!
