Mixed 12-pack of Mexican beer from grocery store. Slightly darker golden color with some carbonation. Touch of citrus with neutral carbonation after taste. I suppose this works for a hot day on the beach (which it is not currently in Washington). Added a lime a 1/4 way through definitely improves things. Not much but it’s doable on hot sand.

Bottle from local Yamaya. Mild caramel and cardboard nose. Medium straw, no head, minimal carbonation. Unpleasant cardboard initial / that flavor intensifies in mid / fades out mercifully fast. Thin-medium body. Worse than Bohemia. Tastes a bit fake and extract-like.

At 3-5 $ cheaper than carona Tecate is one of my favorite cheap beers. Small Head. Light yellow. Goes well with lime and or salt. Perfect for cooling off on a hot day. Plus Hellboy drinks it!

I love the aroma of Tecate. It is a punch in the face of malt, with a touch of hop buried underneath. It’s fairly dark for the style and produces and excellent head. The flavor is thick, almost chewy, with malt. I have to be in the right mood to drink this but I do enjoy it on occassion.

Bottle from Shebeen bar, Melbourne. Pours a yellow with a small white head. Aroma is kind of malt with little else. Taste is light sweet with not much of a finish. M’eh.

32 oz mug topped off with a lime with some quesadillas. Only beers ill do fruit in it beer- mexican. Not too much taste, like an American domestic. Not sure how to rate this except that it is not inferior to Corona in any way and its half the cost.

Pretty standard Mexican beer. Lots of corn, tastes pretty cheap but quite drinkable.

Very bland taste; nothing much to say about it. It’s drinkable, but at 4.5% ABV, its flavor is crap compared to most Lager at the same ABV. It doesn’t have a distinct taste, but rather dull and much like other cheap Lagers at the same price. Made in Mexico, and...?

12 oz can. Bright golden and clear with a white foam and little lacing. Aroma is toasted grains, soft herbal hops and soft malts. Light, crisp, and clean. The flavor is really not too bad, better than I expected. Grains, sweet malts and soft hops. Smooth and thin with a semi-dry, semi-sweet finish. Underrated, perhaps.
