Its quite possibly the worse mexican beer. Tastes like water with a little yeast. Weak, mild flavor. No body at all. Perfect beer for an american spring breaker.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can @ a Mexican restaurant - rimmed with salt & served with a lime wedge.
IT MUST BE SAID: this is not a good beer by any stretch of the imagination...
HOWEVER: the embellishment of salt & lime bumps this insipid skunky pale lager into almost a Gose-like sour & salty thirst quenchy which compliments the spice of Mexican cuisine.
Doesn’t make it a good beer, but if you must, I’d give it a try!

Meets the minimum requirements for a beer, mass produced thirst quencher at best. As expected though. Nearly tipped out

4.5% ABV. Pale Lager.
Poured out Gold. 6° SRM
Nose had light and beery aroma notes, lager nose.
Mouthfeel is sudsy. Palate is pale malt. Sweet and beery.
Finish is clean.
Overall, it gets knocked and snubbed, but you have some fresh fish tacos in front of you and you can’t imagine anything better, not even a Corona will do.

Canned. Not as good as Tecate light. With a lime. Pairs well with Mexican street food but nothing else.

I love Mexican beers, but this is not the greatest export from there. Light golden color with a thin white head that disappears quickly. Corn and light malt flavors with a cereal aftertaste. Not great but not bad either.

0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
One of the worst mexican beers. Golden color, very thin to no head at all, no aroma. Flavor is sweet corn (barely noticeable), no hops, no body. Watery mouthfeel and finish. Serve it really cold, it tastes slightly (not too) better. Drink it directly from the can or bottle, don’t waste your time cleaning a glass before and after this, it doesn’t improve at all.
