COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Lager beer with a delicious aroma of malt and hops and a delicate balance in its subtle refreshing taste.

12 oz bottle- final of the three mexican macro lagers I drank at (cough cough) Chevys. Very light straw colored. Aroma is adjuncts as expected- taste is very light, somewhat crisp, with very light notes of malt thrown in with corn. Bland as all hell, didn’t taste like much of anything.

Bottled. Pours pissed colored with a white head. Aroma is a crispy outdoors smell, perhaps leafs? I don’t know. Flavor is a sweet malt with not much else. Watery and bland.

Ummm this one tastes almost identical to sol, but lacks that crispy refreshing aspect. This one is a bit cloying for its style, but still is ok

Well, here we go with another fair to middlin’ lager. I like the can design, which is simple and striking, though not as nice as Modelo Especial. There was very little aroma of any kind; I had to sniff awfully hard to detect a faint sweet-and-sour odor. It poured with a fizzy head that sank fast, leaving a little lacing. The taste has more character and body than Modelo, sourish and ’beery’ in that Mexican way. Palate was thin but slightly fizzy going down. Unlike some people I didn’t get any foul dregs or aftertaste; my can was pretty smooth. This is another Vato’s Gold like Modelo, acceptable because it’s somewhat better than a BMC. It seems to be fashionable right now, though I have no idea why. It’s overpriced in my neighborhood at $7.20 for the six.

473ml can, 4.5% A/v Pours a very pale gold, thin white head and very little evident carbonation. Nose is malt, and feet. Tastes malty, with a kind of blah taste. Aftertaste isnt horrible but is definitely the worst feature, a bit too sweet and gross, not sure what it is though.

33 cL bottle. Pours deep golden yellow, clear, with a mostly diminished head. Sweet malty aroma. Slight roasted malty flavour, medium dry. Finish holds a slight noe of fruit and some bitterness. Decent.

Had my first one in Mexico, was given to me from a guy I bought something off of. Since I opened it myself (even though it came from a shoe box with ice) I drank it. This beer gets extra points for not killing me. The guy who gave it to me said it was the heniken of mexico.
