I think this is only good while you’re sitting across the border in boy’s town, watching the girls onstage and the beer is only 50 cents.

decent fizz head and a actual gold color instead of looking so watery. I just drank a 12 oz of crazy ed’s chilli beer so this stuff actually doesnt taste all that bad. I think this beer is quite good compared to the other mexican beers iv’e tried. Love how its always cheap and on sale. Good with tostada’s or for mixing with clamato, lime, tapatio and a pinch of salt. MMmmm memories of being in Mexico.

Quite possibly the worst beer produced in Mexico, but I’m still looking... Didn’t actually have a noticable aroma which I suppose is good. Foamy white head on top of a pale yellow. Flavor, hard to say there was one... maybe cardboard with some sugar on it. The palate was inoffensive because of the lack of aftertaste.

Really good with Mexican food. Light and really carbonated. Don’t think I’d like to drink this by itself, but it is a nice compliment to the food.

Bottle. This is the worst of all of the Mexican beers out there. Light colored, light bodied, light tasting, lightweight. No good.

UPDATED: JAN 30, 2006 It’s said this beer is awfull, but I think is great, the closest you are to Tecate(the city) the best it tastes. Although it has a low alcohol percentage, it can get you dizzy easily if you are not used to beers.

Went well with Mexican food last night. A little bitterness after taste. Not bad Mexcican brew.

UPDATED: AUG 20, 2007 Rating #1600... Can... There is no "delicate balance" in this can of beer. The malt is there (barely) with tiny notes of corn and honey, but I’m missing out on any hop experience whatsoever. There must be some hops thrown in, though, as the brew isn’t coyingly sweet. Fizzy as hell. Goes well with Mexican food, but really, what doesn’t go well with Mexican food?

Fair aroma, but let me mouth feeling like I just drank a thin motor oil. Does not keep very well. I remember that when I bought it about 4 months ago, I was alot better, but I had one last week and it was nasty. Tasted very bitter and felt gave my mouth the feeling of being coated with motor oil. If you buy it, drink it. It won’t last too long in the ’fridge.
