1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Golden yellow with a macro white laced head. Starchy aroma. Mellow corned malt flavor without any distinction one way or another. I guess it’s better than a coke with Mexican food.

I usually drink this one with Mexican food and it works at least as good as the other Mexican beers. It is of the same quality and mouth feel as Dos Equis but has a different hop character and sweeter malt. Pours thin and light colored. Average beer.

Similar to other Mexican brews--meaning bad. With a lime to make it palatable. Boring malt liquory.

We sometimes get this beer for after softball games. Only tried it out of a can, never seen it in any other way. The armoa is of the can not the beer. The appearance is of the can, as I have never poured it into a glass. the flavor is ok for after a softball game... A latin bud/coors.

My favorite mexican food beer-they serve it in a goblet, ice friggen cold and a half a lime.
So cold can hardly make anything out, now that I think about it. Hey!.....

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
UPDATED: DEC 21, 2004 Had 7 of these recently on a fishing boat in Mexico. Pours clear golden with a white head. Grainy, corny aroma. Taste is more of the same with some faint maltiness, faint hops and a hint of caramel on the back end. Thin and watery on the palate. Not good at all, but not offensive either.

I think this is only good while you’re sitting across the border in boy’s town, watching the girls onstage and the beer is only 50 cents.

decent fizz head and a actual gold color instead of looking so watery. I just drank a 12 oz of crazy ed’s chilli beer so this stuff actually doesnt taste all that bad. I think this beer is quite good compared to the other mexican beers iv’e tried. Love how its always cheap and on sale. Good with tostada’s or for mixing with clamato, lime, tapatio and a pinch of salt. MMmmm memories of being in Mexico.

Quite possibly the worst beer produced in Mexico, but I’m still looking... Didn’t actually have a noticable aroma which I suppose is good. Foamy white head on top of a pale yellow. Flavor, hard to say there was one... maybe cardboard with some sugar on it. The palate was inoffensive because of the lack of aftertaste.
