1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle. Tastes very grainy and there is an unwelcome sourness or tartness I can’t quite put my tongue to.

Yup, this is a Tecate. Typical Mexican lager plus a slight oxidized flavor, hint of wet cardboard. probably on par with BMC.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
355 ml bottle. Nice looking gold color, low carbonation and persistent white head, it could look like a high end beer. Sadly quickly falls in the smell. Grass and corn. Refreshing sweet taste, unbalanced and waterish, but drinkable. Aftertaste fails for being too chemical. Had this one after the fight of Mayweather and Pac (damn you, Mayweather) so marketing worked for me, but not very likely to drink this one again.

I actually like Tecate as a nice substitute to Corona on Cinco De Mayo! There really isn't much to say about this beer apart from it's pretty smooth and pretty light

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Had this at Cinco de Mayo in Osaka. Extremely average, but did exactly what was needed at a super sunny, hot, outdoor festival. When in Rome...

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
For a Mexican lager this is about as good as it gets. Refreshing citrus notes perfect for washing down large amounts of tequila!

Malt sucré, houblons fades. Un peu de grains de céréales. Légère et amertume nulle. Bière commerciale comme des dizaines d’autres

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bright yellow, white head.
Bitter herbs, lemon, bread, iron, a tinge of cinnamon.
Soft and light. Sour enough to end up being fresh. Low bitterness.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a mug.
Aroma- Has a very corn/grain aroma and a wee bit of hops
Appearance- A BMC color with a small white head
Taste- Has a very watery taste, sort of like a weak Miller
Palate- A light bodied beer with moderate carbonation. Has a dry finish
Overall- A poor to average beer, there are many better Mexican beers out there. Remember that Corona Light is not one of the better ones I was talking about

No the best Mexican beer out there. But it’s a good fall back beer and cheap for a 12 pack

3.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a golden straw color. There’s a nice foamy head and hangs around pretty well. Pretty nice lacing. It’s an excellent start.
Doesn’t smell all that great. I guess grassy would be the best way to describe it. It’s a little odd.
Tastes good. I’m a little surprised actually. If you hold your breath it’s even better. It might have a little citrus in it. I can’t detect any specific grain, but it’s well balanced. Sweet, but not too sweet.
Mouthfeel is dry, a little heavy. Finishes a little bitter. I just upped the rating for palate by a point, it’s highly drinkable. Better than what I thought, bettter than most ’macros.’
Overall, I’m quite surprised. Compared to Corona this is amazing!! I don’t understand the low rating, it’s pretty good!
