1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
A yellow beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt as well as hops. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of corn and the body is thin. A boring beer.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pilsener golden with a bubbly, white, dissipating head. Sweetish, malty nose. Medium body with a marked malt sweetness, while the corn flavours are more subdued than in other Mexicans - thanks for that. No bitterness. 080706

Can San Antonio. Why not. You have to drink something to beat the heat, and this one is much better than Lone Star or Pearl Lite.

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
A: The pour is a golden color with a decent enough white head, but not all that much retention.
S: Just an awful aroma comes from the glass immediately. Lots of sweet corn, grass, and urine pretty much sums this one up.
T: A moderate level of sweetness from the corn, but there’s also a burnt rice flavor which provides a bit of an interesting character. Overall, though, not pleasant.
M: The body is light and the carbonation is surprisingly not overdone.
D: This was always my least favorite of the Mexican lagers that I’d had and this can reminds me why. Just no good.
