Malt malt and more malt. Not a hint of hops but it is still a good brew. Totally a session beer.

Ah, summer. Pale yellow pour, no head to speak of. Nose is corn. Tad sweet. Middle is light malted grain, not much else. Finish dries just a touch. OK when it is cold, as it warms...not so much.

Bottle. Golden body with white head. Aroma iws corn with citrus. Taste is is also some corn with some citrus. Aftertaste is malty and you even taste some hops. O.K.on a hot day with some Mexican food.

12 oz. can at El Taco Luchador, Louisville (some legit Mexican food, by the way). Aroma: Slightly sweet corn; light hay; very light lemon. Appearance: Consumed from can. Flavor: Matches the nose; light and pleasant all around, and a good complement to the food; has a dry, abrupt finish. Palate: Light body, slick texture, lively carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: A simple, pleasant drink that is probably best consumed with Mexican food on a hot day, which is how I had it today.

Yup, this is a Tecate. Typical Mexican lager plus a slight oxidized flavor, hint of wet cardboard. probably on par with BMC.

355 ml bottle. Nice looking gold color, low carbonation and persistent white head, it could look like a high end beer. Sadly quickly falls in the smell. Grass and corn. Refreshing sweet taste, unbalanced and waterish, but drinkable. Aftertaste fails for being too chemical. Had this one after the fight of Mayweather and Pac (damn you, Mayweather) so marketing worked for me, but not very likely to drink this one again.

I actually like Tecate as a nice substitute to Corona on Cinco De Mayo! There really isn't much to say about this beer apart from it's pretty smooth and pretty light ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had this at Cinco de Mayo in Osaka. Extremely average, but did exactly what was needed at a super sunny, hot, outdoor festival. When in Rome...
